Absolutely beautiful beach! The white sands and the clear blue waters were a dream come true. With perfect weather, it was the best area. There are beach chair rentals you can reserve, or you can bring your own chairs/tents/umbrellas. There do have the police driving up and down the beach frequently to ensure no laws are being broken. It shouldn't be hard, but for some a respect for nature has completely died. You would think people would pick up their own trash, not use glass bottles, you know leave without any footprints ? It's amazing to see how well kept this beach is, and for those who are inconsiderate and don't think to clean up after themselves typically the locals or the police will give you a reminder. For us it was no problem at all, we did mention it to a few of the younger crowds to make sure they threw their trash away and bottles and cans. Leave it clean so it will stay beautiful! read more

This is our first time at Seacreast and it sucks. We have stayed in Seaside in the past but thought we would try this area. We didn't realize how small their beach area is and how crowded and restricted it would be. The houses are nice but the beach and pool is so crowded there is literally no place to sit. This is a terrible beach to visit for vacation. Most of the beach has signs posted private and no trespassing so you have two options. You can rent an overpriced chair and sit in an area with hundreds of blue chairs and umbrellas obstructing the view OR take your own chair and sit in a 12x12 area surrounded by orange cones. Either option you are on top of strangers with absolutely no privacy or view of the beach/ocean. You aren't allowed to take coolers either. This beach has no vibe and it's been such a frustrating experience that we are packing up and leaving 4 days early after paying a ridiculous amount for a weekly rental. read more

I can only speak of the main seacrest beach entrance. If you don't spend an arm and a leg renting chairs,umbrellas, etc. be prepared to be packed in like sardines. There's a very tiny section of beach that they allow people to use their own umbrellas and chairs. It's so crazy because literally no one rents. They need to figure this out. This is our first experience on the 30a so I wasn't sure what to expect but lesson learned. Be here at 6am to set up or else. read more

Seacrest Beach - Beaches Near Me - Seacrest Beach, Florida

I absolutely love Seacrest Beach. This beach covers a good stretch, so I'll comment about the parts I frequent. I stay at the Water's Edge gated community. It is a beautiful community of 2 and 3 story homes. Most have small pools and of those that have pools, all but two are heated. Private access to the beach located in a central location in the back of the community. Most of the rental homes come with rental bikes, which are delivered to you when you arrive and chairs and umbrellas are set up in a row on white, billowy sand near the water. Coolers are permitted on the beach but glass is forbidden. A $100.00 fine, per glass item will be issued to you, if caught breaking their ordinance. Look to the flags located beside you on Rosemary Beach to get information about water conditions. For instance, purple means there are jelly fish around and yellow means caution. The water is beautiful. The beach is clean, The people are friendly. * In the summer months, an ice cream salesperson will drag a cooler of refreshments in the water and you go in the water to buy a tasty treat. Also, speak to the guys who set up your chairs/umbrellas if you want to rent a surf or paddle board, cooler, .... or arrange an evening bonfire. read more

Don't waste your time coming here! Beautiful area of homes but they only allow people to stay in one small area of the beach. Crammed in like sardines yet the rest of the beach is wide open! Won't allow you to walk to the beach unless you are wearing a special arm band. Two hour waits for restaurants. If you are looking for a peaceful beach without rules, rules, rules go somewhere else in the gulf coast. read more

If you're looking to visit Santa Rosa, I recommend choosing one of the many other beaches close by. Seacrest Beach is entirely too crowded. Dolce Vita Rentals takes up majority of the beach and stacks their rentals right on too of each other. This company is incredibly money hungry & does not care about allowing families to enjoy their experience in peace or privacy. Because of Dolce Rentals, this only left the smallest amount of beach space for the public. We witnessed many people walk out to the beach & turn right back around because of how overcrowded it was. You're literally elbow to elbow with other families. You can't even see the water because of the amount of people stacked on top of each other closer to the water. We were very disappointed & will definitely chose a less crowded spot in Santa Rosa next time. So sad. read more

This was my first trip to the Emerald Coast, and Seacrest Beach. We stayed at a small condo complex called Seamist Condos. There are 12 one-bedroom units in the small building, which is right on the beach with private access. It was the perfect size unit for us, and the view from our 2nd floor balcony was amazing. The beach was clean, and not crowded at all. Most of the folks staying in our building were the only folks on the beach but I did meet a couple of people staying in the neighboring building. There was new construction in progress on one side of us, but they didn't start too early or work too late into the evening so we barely noticed them. The water was so beautiful from white to emerald to blue. There were no problems while we were there at all. Everyone was polite, friendly and we didn't see anyone breaking any rules. All cleaned up after themselves. It was beautiful, peaceful, and I am now hooked and am planning my next trip down! read more
