I'm a senior and have seen the beautiful coral of the past, so the snorkel was terribly sad and frightening. Our oceans sustain us. Captain was great, funny , mixing all the time. Understand u don't talk about the boat ride length and getting sea sick but perhaps a warning to take or bring Dramamine. I think the crew would get more tips if they were friendly and joking around with guests. But keep up the good work and thanks ! read more

Jay and crew were amazing on the tour! We took the 915. The receptionist was also so nice and helpful. There is a bakery next door, they have some of the best Cuban sandwiches! The ride was 45 minutes each way on the boat but beautifully scenic along the way. The water is crystal Clear and beautiful. The food on the boat was basic but good. We used Sea Ventures to charter a 47' power catamaran for an all day tour for a family of 5. I looked at a lot of places and reviews but settled on this as it was a larger boat than may of the other places I looked at without being a mega yacht. The boat was extremely spacious with multiple places for the family to sit. An indoor kitchen/dining area, an outdoor dining / seating area that was shaded, a spot upstairs near the captains chair where the family could all fit with more than enough space and a spot on the front to lay out. We had a crew of 3 which I wasn't expecting, but made for a nice experience. Chris, Danny and Sophia - all were very nice, and chill and more than happy to help with whatever you needed (getting you a drink, help with gear, etc). Let me play music through the Bluetooth, and blew up a large raft to float on as they parked outside of the beach. We were out on time and came back a few minutes after 4 and got the entire 6 hours of booking time on the boat (a prior review mentioned this as an issue but not for us). You do have to bring your own towels (this was noted on the website) and we brought our own life jackets that we got at Walmart that were a bit nicer than the ones they had on board. They do ask to take your shoes off when you get on but that didn't bother us and it's how they keep the boat clean and white. We came in March and the wind was strong, with a decent current so we stayed on the closer islands (Palominos, Icacos) which were ~20 min ride out. Less 'island hopping' than when we were in St. Thomas, but overall a very good experience and the family had a great time. I would definitely use them again for a mid-range option that's nicer than the 30' power boats you can charter and smaller than huge boats that cost several thousand per day. The whole operation seemed professional and the crew was very experienced and safe which is the most important aspect. read more

Super fun dive. Lola was out dive instructor and she did an amazing job with out refresher. She was extremely experience and knowledgeable about the area, the equipment and under water. I felt safe and secured, through the dive. My husband got a little sick and she checkout on him made sure he felt secure to go up the boat and continued the dive with the rest of the group. Captain was fun and made sure we where all aware of any safety directions we needed. Make sure you request Lolo when you book. read more

Crew of 4-pax very efficient, professional, and friendly. Had to do Vieques as too windy/swells to do Culebra. Bouncy, wet ride to/from enjoyed by the youngest riders. Glad we took the dramamine earlier. 45 minutes snorkeling. Saw several turtles, variety of reef fish, some corals. Not much beach to spend 2 hours on but several partied on.  Good lunch sandwiches, pasta, fruit, and mixed drinks (pina colada, passion fruit, rum punch -- with or without alcohol).  Staff engaged customers, shared insights, suggestions. Solid safety protocols throughout. Dive boat, so not terribly comfortable sitting amongst tank holders. Had a really good experience ! The crew for our tour were very friendly and made it comfortable and fun! The price is very good for the experience. Although, the information is a bit misleading , says 4 hours but we only got 45 min to snorkel. Then an hour docked at the beach. A little upsetting but hey with the price cant complain i guess. All and all had a good first time snorkeling. A little scary for me because im scared of fish haha! My group and I had an absolute blast with Sea Ventures! A friend and I were Discovery Scuba Divers (not certified), and it was our first time trying scuba diving. Lolo and Jose, our instructors, were fantastic. I was extremely nervous (Honestly, I was panicking!), but Lolo's patience helped me complete all the required skills for Discovery Scuba. My partner, who is a certified PADI diver, praised the staff for their detailed and thorough instructions. Jose was my dive master during the actual dive, and he checked on us every few minutes to ensure we were okay. We had such a fun time snorkeling with sea ventures! We did the Culebra All Inclusive Day Snorkeling, but because of weather conditions we went to Vieques. We went on a Saturday, so the tour was packed. We were a bit squished for the hour ride to Vieques, but the views were beautiful. We definitely got our money's worth in food and drinks. On the way back to Fajardo, we got absolutely drenched so be sure not to sit towards the end if that is an issue. Overall had a great time and would go again. read more

We came for our advanced open water certificate. Initially there was miscommunication and our reservation was lost - so make sure to call in if you do not get your padi code, or driver/instructor assignment. After talking with the manager they apologized and went above and beyond to make it work. Regarding the experience, Jose is a great instructor and was very enthusiastic! On the phone and through email they are very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. I worked separately with two instructors Lolo and Carlos toward the Open Water certification. They were very aware of what was going on with me during the various experiences, for safety's sake. I felt like I was in good hands. I guess the weather and what wildlife shows up will always vary, I saw a variety of beautiful and unusual fish, and some sea turtles. Lolo pointed out some things I would have missed. The crew and instructors were friendly and fun but were professional. I happened to see them come up against a pretty difficult and tense situation and was impressed to see them kick into another gear. They were decisive and communicative. IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD This company was so unprofessional. We had put them on our theknot registry thinking it would be easier than being gifted money in terms of scheduling but we should have been wary of the fact that no reviews had been left yet. We were scheduled to have two separate trips with them, one snorkling, one scuba diving for our honeymoon in PR. The week before our trip they had to change the location and time of our trip, ok no problem, however, when we tried to reschedule they were only able to offer afternoons which was impossible because of other aspects of our trip so we asked for a refund. We had been gifted it through the knot so they had to communicate with the third party to confirm the cancellation however, the company tried to tell the third party that we had not canceled it but rather rescheduled it to the day of our scuba trip despite it being a completely separate trip. Luckily we were able to find a SEPARATE company last minute who gave us an amazing day on a catamaran and snorkling and was cheaper than this company. We then put our hopes towards our scuba trip... big mistake. They called us at 5 pm the day before we were scheduled to go to tell us that their instructor had come in to teach that day so he would not be able to teach the following day. They offered to reschedule us but again there was no availability on the last day of our trip and we were about to leave PR. They then gave us a few numbers of places with the caveat that they would be closed in less than an hour. Nowhere had availability since it was LITERALLY the evening prior to when we were trying to go. They are making the refund process so difficult and on top of that are only able to send it to the people who gifted it to begin with so not only did they ruin our honeymoon but they also ruined our wedding gifts. read more

Booked the discover scuba Fajardo reefs morning dive excursion for 4 adults and 2 snorkel dives...the instructors were amazing, super friendly and patient. Long story short, scuba diving is a lot harder than I expected and I ended up not doing the second dive but I am so glad I atleast tried. The view was absolutely stunning and the group we were with was really fun. I would definitely recommend taking dramamine if you get motion sickness (our party didn't and we ended up feeding the fishes lol) and also wear sunscreen because the sun out there is no joke.
