this review is long overdue!!…read more i've been coming to pacific pet grooming for my dog Kaeda for 4+ years now! she is a sensitive dog who isn't the easiest and nicest to pet, let alone get washed or cut. shes been turned away from other groomers before, but ever since i brought her to pacific pet grooming -- especially with roberto -- ive never had to worry about her at the groomers! i highly recommend pacific pet grooming, especially if you can book with roberto! they always take the time to answer questions and ask how you'd like them to cut your pet's hair. i've had concerns before but they always listen and do their best to make sure you're happy!! :-)

He would come home smelling so good and fresh, and somehow always looking even more handsome than when I dropped him off. What I appreciated most was how gently and lovingly she handled him, especially as he got older. You can truly tell she cares about the pets she works with and treats them like her own. She even helped me trim my pitbull Gotti's nails (he passed away in August 2025). Even though Sharon normally only works with small dogs, she was so kind and willing to help me out with Gotti. That meant so much to me. I also brought my friend's dog, Bella, to Sharon for the longest time. Bella passed away two years ago, and she always smelled so good after a visit with Sharon. She truly had a special touch with all of them. Zack recently passed away as well, so I won't be bringing him in anymore, and that makes me so sad. I will definitely miss our visits with Sharon. I'll also miss seeing her sweet dog, Molly, who always greeted everyone that walked through the door. That warm welcome made it feel even more special. Her studio may not be the fanciest place out there, but what truly matters is the care, attention, and love she gives to our pets. That means everything. I was texted at the 3 hour mark when Sharon said the dog would be ready. Upon pickup Sharon shared my dog had a scab on her thigh I didn't notice and appreciated her for pointing out. I asked for a little more fur to be shaved from the top of her head and Sharon helped right away. I appreciate her communication and flexibility. I saw someone cleaning which I understand but the staff walked out and locked the door behind her. She kinda gave a rude look. They were suppose to be open according to the schedule. Do better guys, some people come just to visit with the cats through the cages. That's how I've adopted two already in previous years. Can't you clean before visiting time or after. And if not clean but don't just leave to do other things around the store and lock the door behind you. More interactions more adoptions. We will follow visiting hours but those doors better be open when it's our time to interact.

I started bringing my dog here to address his luxating patella. We came up with a plan to start shockwave therapy and water treadmill therapy and supplements. We've had two appointments out of the five of the package we purchased. He's much more comfortable with all the staff and treatments now. The first two shockwave treatments are done with the doctors to assess and develop a treatment plan, and the following treatments are done with a certified therapist. Everyone has been so kind to my dog that he loves coming here. And not just for the human grade cheese he's given to do the exercises!! We were also given a comprehensive List of physical therapy movements and stretches to do at home. It's too soon to tell if the treatment is working well, but we have high hopes with this clinic! It takes us about 3 hours of traffic to get to and from this clinic, but it's such a gem. They provide towels and blowdryers and snacks for the water treadmill work. We opted to not try the injection as my dog is scared of shots, who isn't really?! The doctor was so kind to provide us with a another supplement option, which we have started. They check in to see how he's doing at the start of every appointment and tailor the session to his needs. We opted to not go through insurance, but they can help out with paperwork if you do so. Well worth it to learn non invasive techniques to rehab your beloved pups. Can't wait to see my little baby become stronger with these amazing professionals!

My dog returned from his grooming session with horrific injuries: multiple cuts on his penis, underbelly, and inner ear, leaving him in excruciating pain and distress. I emailed the owner with pics 2 days later (we were on a trip that weekend), no response. Then I call twice that week, no response. It wasn't until I called a third time (my 4th attempt total) that he got back to me. And when he did he was rude, insolent and refused to take any responsibility. Don't be fooled by his inevitable entitled, condescending rebuttal, he thrives on it. His text confession is a gut punch: he admits the machine causes injuries but shrugs it off, claiming "the marks fade in a few days." Unbelievable. See our conversation screenshot for that revolting excuse. This man and his crew have no love for animals--zero concern, just smug indignation when confronted with evidence. There was zero concern for my dog's well-being, only defensiveness. At no point did he apologize, acknowledge the harm done, or act like someone who cares about animals. You know how sometimes you worry that your pet is being harmed and you'll never know about it. Well, this was a nightmare come true. They don't care if they harm your animal. My dog's injuries and the owners response made that abundantly clear. Please don't use these people. They're horrible.

I've been booking for bath only, which does come with a nail trim and other upkeep stuff. My dog comes out smelling good with a nice smooth coat -- and it keeps like that for a while! His skin doesn't dry out, even in winter. I most especially like that my dog comes out happy (he likes coming here!) and the staff seem to reciprocate. I really like them, lovely folks. We're happy to commit and make The Doodle our go-to groomer!
