We hired Scrub Perfect for a simple holiday clean before houseguests arrived. In 3.5 hours, for $190, the very bare bone basics were touched in 4 rooms. Nothing was moved. Microwave wasn't touched inside. Simple countertop appliances were not moved to wash countertop behind them. Things were 'squirted on' and 'wiped down', but not cleaned with soap and water. A lot of the basics were missed. I cleaned for 3 hours myself to clean my home. I'm generally very clean anyway, I was just looking for extra help with the holidays. I had an awful experience with Scrub Perfect LLC and would strongly caution anyone considering their services. I booked a deep cleaning after exchanging multiple emails with the owner, Nolan, to confirm exactly what would be done. He assured me in writing that his team would meet my expectations and that a final walkthrough would be completed before payment. Instead, the crew left without doing the walkthrough, and when I checked their work, I found dust, dirty baseboards, and untouched areas all over my home. I sent Nolan multiple photos and videos as proof, but instead of taking responsibility or sending another team to fix it, he became defensive and threatened me with "further action" to collect full payment for a job that wasn't properly done. I refused to pay the full $300 invoice and instead offered to pay $150, which was more than reasonable. Nolan ignored my request for a revised invoice and instead attempted to intimidate me. If you're looking for a reliable, professional cleaning service, avoid this company. They do not stand behind their work, and their handling of customer concerns is completely unacceptable. Response to Nolan's Comment Below: This response from Nolan is yet another misrepresentation of the facts and a clear attempt to shift blame. 1. False Accusations of Yelling & Cussing: I never yelled or cussed at his team. In fact, my interaction with them was pleasant. One of the cleaners even complimented my hair, and we had a friendly conversation before they suddenly left without notifying me--because Nolan told them to. If necessary, these two women can testify under oath that I never raised my voice or acted inappropriately toward them. 2. Incorrect Pricing Claims: Nolan is lying about quoting $450. Nowhere in our email correspondence does that amount appear. This is yet another example of his willingness to be dishonest when faced with legitimate complaints. 3. Failure to Acknowledge Poor Work: I provided dozens of photos and videos proving that basic cleaning--such as wiping down countertops--was not done. In several videos, I physically wiped surfaces and showed the thick layer of dust that remained. By the end of the recordings, my pants were visibly covered in dust from simply brushing against areas that were supposed to have been cleaned. Nolan has never once acknowledged the validity of these concerns. 4. Misrepresentation of Service Agreement: Before hiring his company, I sent multiple emails clearly listing the cleaning tasks I needed. Nolan confirmed these would be completed within the timeframe I booked. If he knew his team couldn't fulfill what I requested, that should have been communicated upfront. Instead, he took the job, failed to deliver, and is now resorting to lies to cover his tracks. Rather than addressing these issues professionally, Nolan has chosen to mischaracterize my behavior and fabricate details. Incredibly unethical. They missed a cleaning and cost me $1000. Blatantly lied about their ability to show up in an attempt to save it. Showed up an hour and a half late. Cost me not only the money but the review. They are incredibly challenging to communicate with. It was a major mistake to use the in a high volume setting like Airbnb they will absolutely fail you. I clean out of my house before Christmas. Scrub perfect did a perfect job. They were the only cleaners that actually called me. The remaining companies just emailed me. I was impressed with how fast they got a hold of me and set up an appointment. They even sent out an representative to take a look at my house and get a better feel for the cost. They did an impressive job... Washing my cabinets and washed windows and walls. They did a beautiful job on my bathrooms. They even left a little flower that looked like a rose made out of toilet paper. I know it sounds goofy, but it was so appreciated. The cost was reasonable, and the results were perfect. I scheduled a deep cleaning of my condo after replacing my flooring. The cleaning came in tight jumpsuit with full make-up and false eyelashes. Her long fingernails were professional done. She did not do deep cleaning but snail pace soft feather duster for 1 inch paster dust. It took her an hour in my kitchen with me telling her not to do my pantry, which she reorganized and can not find anything. After another hour of feather dusting and no baseboards in my living room, dining room, I called it quits with her. $55 hour equals $110. She conferred with her boss for 15 minutes by phone as I made check to her and he wanted to Bill my credit card on file So he billed me $124 for her time.
