Scrub Brothers has one of the better post-wash setups I've seen. There's plenty of room to pull in and clean out your vehicle, good vacuums with the attachments you actually need for carpets and crevices, compressed air for blowing out those impossible spots, and even a mat-cleaning machine.
I have rubber floor mats, and they've really thought that part through. There's a separate sink where you can soap them up, scrub them, rinse them off, and then use an air nozzle to blow most of the water off. The whole facility was clean, well laid out, and easy to get in and out of. Everyone I talked with was friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately, the weakest part of the experience was the actual car wash.
I had a free promotional card to try the place, which apparently represented a $27 wash. At that price point, I expected considerably better results. The employees pretreated and scrubbed the front of my vehicle before I entered the wash, but when I came out, there were still a LOT of bugs left on the front. Enough that I eventually grabbed one of their towels and multipurpose cleaner and scrubbed the front myself.
So I'm a little torn. The facility, amenities, and employees are excellent. They've clearly put a lot of thought into everything surrounding the wash. But for a $27 car wash, the actual cleaning result was pretty average, and that's ultimately what I'm paying for.
I'm glad I got to try it for free. I'd happily use that vacuum/detail area again, but based on this visit, I'd have a hard time paying $27 for the wash itself. read more
