The assistant made it clear that he would not move the furniture. When I called to complain, Marc told me that "there was probably just dust under there anyway!" Which wasn't the point. I asked for a carpet cleaning and was promised the full carpet would be cleaned. Not for a lazy one swipe with the machine. The part they cleaned looks great. But it was a half-assed job and not what I signed up for. Update, just got off the phone with Jamila and she hung up on me instead of listening to what I had to say. Never in my life has a company made me feel so disrespected and angry. I'm a reasonable person and my fiancé had nothing to do with the misunderstanding. The misunderstanding is fully on Aladdin's end. Mark was ridiculously unprofessional and Jamila's employee lied about the exchange. You should be able to book a job with details laid out, and get that job done the first time correctly. Not have to endure accusations and rudeness from the co-owner and be offered to have the service done again on Friday so the carpet is wet all weekend. Whatever response Jamila might have for this review, it's to attempt to save face and cover up the fact that they provided bad customer service and did the job incorrectly. It amazes me that a business that is run in this manner has been around for this long.
