This place is very cute and has a large selection of pieces to paint. Unfortunately, the owner was…read morerather rude and condescending to me and my boyfriend while we were there. She was overly stern to us while explaining the painting process, I felt as if she were lecturing us and treating us like children. She also continued to offer us unsolicited advice throughout the time we were painting. I'm sure she felt she was being nice and helpful (I hope), but did not come across nicely. I am bummed that this was my first experience there because I enjoy painting pottery. Other than that, the prices were pretty fair, and the pickup process was simple enough. I probably will not return, but I would recommend this place to people with lots of patience who do not mind being talked down to. ;)

We stopped at…read moreFred Meyers jewelers first and was told that they'd have to send it out, which means I wouldn't be getting it back in time before I left. They recommended Indigo Beads. So Dad and I went there and the owner was extremely pleasant and a delight to interact with. She took a look at my earring and said it needed to be soldered and that it was something she does not do. She then recommended Main Street Jewelers nearby (you can guess who my next review is going to be for). Of course I browsed her store and came across a black obsidian crow for myself and a rose quartz heart for my Mom that I had to buy. Her store is full of sparkly, shiny, pretty things. A feast for the senses to say the least. Can't recommend it or the owner enough. On a side note I love the sense of community, from one store's recommendation to another and then to another. :)

She also has the machines to do all the quilting you need. She was friendly and helpful and didn't charge me a lot for some hand-sewing work. She also seemed very knowledgeable. Park out front and go in, it's easy to find. She didn't bother with a receipt but I'm sure her casual approach is just fine.
