The corporate policy does, too often, exclude things in tiny print, and I find it intensely irritating when I'm not allowed to use a coupon I went for specifically. But that's not within control of the store's clerks. I'm really grateful for terrific sales and curbside pickup during our COVID social distancing. Doug discussed it over the phone and suggested my wife and I come in. We were impressed with the roomful of sample catalogues and the prices were reasonable. After the material arrived it was about two months until he was able to get to it. It took him a month or so to finish the work, and the results are excellent. There was a delay while more fabric was ordered due to flaws in the material sent, but only a week. He not only reupholstered the chair, he added a zipper into the headrest to allow us to adjust the amount of stuffing in it and added velcro flaps on the base of the back to ease access to the latches for removing the back off of the base. He's easy to work with, honest and very amicable. It's hard to find a good upholsterer and Doug is a gem.

She was overly stern to us while explaining the painting process, I felt as if she were lecturing us and treating us like children. She also continued to offer us unsolicited advice throughout the time we were painting. I'm sure she felt she was being nice and helpful (I hope), but did not come across nicely. I am bummed that this was my first experience there because I enjoy painting pottery. Other than that, the prices were pretty fair, and the pickup process was simple enough. I probably will not return, but I would recommend this place to people with lots of patience who do not mind being talked down to. ;)
