Once more Yelp sent me to the wrong place. I guess the only people leaving reviews are those people with exceptional outcomes. In a 6 month time frame, this law firm was unable to get my car fixed or get any of my medical bills covered, never mind work on a settlement. This is after the other persons insurance company accepted full responsibility for when I was rear ended. From June to December 2016, they were "working" on my case. From January to May, I wasn't able to get them to reply to my emails or calls, and they had stopped contacting the insurance company on my behalf. I asked for what they had done, and in 9 months they had put 6.5 hours of work into my case and had gotten some paperwork from my doctors. That's it. And they wanted the maximum of 33% of whatever settlement they would have got me. In the end, I was nothing but a number in a stack of cases they were waiting to get paid for. They make literally $2000 an hour based on the time they put in, and it's not nearly worth it. They aren't aggressive in your defense, they don't press the insurance companies to do what they are legally required to do. They just sit and wait until they can settle and collect, while seriously not giving a crap about you. You're a payday for them, nothing else. Find someone else that takes less money. If you want some aggressive and responsive representation, these guys aren't who you are looking for. read more

Called in for a consultation with an associate, Bob was his name. He was super condescending and rude. Patronized me and talked to me like I was an unintelligent person. Also the pressure of his stressful and condescending tone made me misspeak on something that was pertinent to my case. I did have treatment on the injured area in question. So now they've lost a case, worth a lot of money, as the result of poor communication skills. They handled a case for me several years ago and weren't highly professional then. They invited me in to a consultation and asked me to sign medical releases putting me think they wanted the open and close case in wich I was struck by a vehicle while riding a mountain bike causing me severe, surgery needed injury in wich is still bothering me. First of all, they will let you know if your case requires representation. If it doesn't they will let you know and remain available for questions as you handle it yourself. Which was very smart because when I did have an accident that justified representation, they were the first ones I called! They have handled two accidents for me and did a great job. They kept in contact, they made me feel secure and kept me informed. They also made sure I didn't hurt my case either by making sure I didn't do anything to harm my cases either. I was in a car accident in Feb 2021 and I thought i would be getting the same treatment as I received during my first encounter with them in 2011, I was way off. The staff & the way it was ran 12 years prior has changed for the worse. I got shuffled around due to the constant staff overturn from what I assume is a toxic workplace. Chris Ackerman & Lou Beary/Jade we're amazing, my issue started when I was assigned to Daniel Hoer & his assistant Carmen. I didn't even know who Daniel was until I reported them to the Bar since I was so upset with the abuse from Carmen. She's verbally abusive & thinks she knows everything so it's difficult to have her understand what you're saying. She made me feel like I was the one who caused the accident when I was the victim. And I was asked about my accident multiple times so reliving that traumatic incident repeatedly was not fun. At the end of it all after 2 years and 1 month I still have my physical therapy lien to handle on my own because they couldn't settle this in 2022 and took forever to settle my medical bills. It was so bad I didn't even care how much I got I just wanted my sanity back and not hear Carmen's voice or see her name pop up on my phone. Initially, my law firm was Miller Law Corporation and some how Scranton got involved. This one employee Karl is very rude and pompous. he cuts you off and acts like he's above the rest. He wants to direct the conversation and has know people skills. As a client, I presume that you work for me and not the opposite. He told me that he would give my case back to Miller Law because I work across the street. This came after I asked why someone had not called me back after two weeks. Imagine that! Whatever! In 2019 I was involved in an automobile accident where the other driver ran a stop sign. I suffered a breastbone fracture which left me with agonizing pain for the next four months.
