Worst workers comp lawfirm in the Bay area by far. You'd be better off representing yourself. Attorney spent more time out of country on vacation then actually advocating for me. Left my deposition early and was lackadaziclal at best. In the end he still got a portion of my settlement for doing jack . Pick someone else. These guys. Espically Shane McKay will screw you. And still get paid off your injury. Do Better Eric Farber and Bilal Kassem read more

Their service is very poor they don't communicate with their clients. The staff changes every other month. Their ability to achieve you a good settlement for your pain and stuffing sucks they don't put forth any effort in resolving your claim. They just do the bare minimum to settle your claim. If you want a good/great lawyer that puts forth effort in your case and get good/great results not just mediocre results don't hire anyone from this firm you will be greatly disappointed and pissed off. They suck!! read more

Mark Thuesen at Pacific Workers handled my case and got me a great settlement. I'm very happy with the outcome of my settlement. I recommend Pacific Workers if you have been injured at work. read more

Spoke to an intake coordinator and got asked questions about things like she was a lawyer. Was told that their lawyers prefer to take cases after the TTD ends. Worse possible advice to give. The lawyer during your TTD assists you getting your medical documentation and required checks so you can get on SDI (another year of workman's comp) and SSID that much easier. Was literally told to check their YouTube videos to be educated instead of hearing back from someone. If you are put on their supposed wait list by an intake officer. Then find another law firm. They will get back to you 3 months later and say they cannot take the case. Which messes you up because that is worth 2/3 visits of documentation to strengthen your case for SDI and or SSDI. Do not answer questions or give any information regarding your case unless speaking to a lawyer. They can keep your information private. The intake will not need to keep it private. This common practice shows how unethical the Law firm is. If you have problems with your insurance adjuster, and or the medical doctors involved. I suggest you check the California DIR utilization reviews and form your complaint there. Noticing some sideways false reviews. Even more suspect when they do YouTube videos as they are more prone to create their own advertisement. Ethics red flags left and right. read more

First off, these guys are TRASH. My case was handled as if they were just trying to pass me through the system quickly just so they can get there cut . Then onto the next. There is no actual quality in case management at all. If you actually don't take my message to heart then your going to see first hand what it's like to me no represented the way your case should. read more

A workmen's compensation case is a clearly a David and Goliath scenario. It takes a firm that is willing to engage with Goliath corporations. Pacific Workers and Gabriela Matesanz, case manager, was up to the task. The overwhelming amount of information and response needed was handled smoothly and professionally. Gabriela answered questions, practiced great communication and exercised patience and compassion. The journey was challenging and frustrating and Gabriela answered all the questions and allayed concerns. Attorney David Mojica was responsive and thorough, and brought the case to a satisfying conclusion. read more

At first I was skeptical using this firm. I just randomly went onto the web and searched. Found them located in Oakland at the time just moving into their new location in Concord, CA. I thought that's convenient why not try them. A lot of of communication was done via text which was strange for me at first. That is the new normal. As I journeyed along with my case I met up with staff at the Concord location. Nice professional clean location, attentive, with a staff member in the front lobby to greet you as you walk in. Professional, attentive, quick to respond , took their time to explain anything I didn't understand. A team of excellence I didn't have to worry about much they did all the communication the employer. I would definitely recommend my family friends or anyone who needed this service. This review is a long time coming! I must say that Farber & Company is very fortunate to have a hard working and determined attorney like Jason working for them. If you are Blessed enough to have Jason as your attorney you will see how hard he works to not only keep you informed of the "goings-on" of your case but more importantly you will see how he really puts in the time & effort to maximize the outcome of your case. He was always there to answer not only my questions but the questions of my Wife. He showed extreme patience with me with all my varied questions and really went the extra mile to put me at ease in some really dire circumstances that transpired thru out my case. I highly recommend Farber & Company as the "go to" attorneys for your workers compensation case. You will be glad as they will be fighting hard for you, utilizing their vast knowledge of the workers compensation system in order to make sure your case has a most favorable outcome!!! read more

When it becomes necessary for a person to retain a Workers Compensation attorney, look no further than to Jason Insdorf at Farber & Co in Oakland. When injured, it is extremely important that you take good care of yourself and focus on getting better day by day, and let Jason and his associates take care of your legal concerns...and they will. Jason and his associates encouraged me every step of the way, and made sure I completely understood what was happening with my case along the way, while I focused on taking care of myself. Once my case was being close to settled, they definitely argued in my favor, and wouldn't take 'no' for an answer. They made sure that my medical expenses will be taken care of for life....what else could I ask read more

The communication lacked very much. My wife had a case for more than a year before we hired the company. When we finally were getting somewhere we would be in the dark due to the lack of communication. My wife had to consistently call in and find out what was going on with the case. She got frustrated with a couple different people. Just because of the simple fact that we're already going through this uncomfortable situation of getting injured at work and then on top of that the people who are supposed to have your back and be there for you, aren't. Overall a great company I just wish they worked on the communication more to make their clients feel less stressed about their situation. I would recommend Jason as an attorney. He's through and educated. When going to the Oakland office definitely ask for Jason. read more

after reading the review on Saina D. and her terrible experience with the lawyer Mr. Mark Thuesen I found out I was not the only one that want through a bad experience and abusive behavior with this lawyer. I had to speak up. I too am afraid of my medical bills not being paid or future bills . I had a good lawyer there and she raided my case for a high amount due to I needed more surgery and future treatment .the problem was she was never there always on leave . I ask to change Attorney, Mark, Thuesen view my case and was very rude when he called me and view my case in a low amount without reading my medical records. after months of going back-and forth with me signing the medical release forms. and not keeping any appointment with the judge. he finally calls me up yelling at me and being rude tells me he did not have my records and tells me it's too bad you're going to have to sign and take what ever the insurance company offers you .they will pay you a low amount. pay out and continue to receive treatment only for a certain time and amount . and if you say no I will drop you and nobody in this law firm wants you and he hung up the phone. he then text me for me to go get my own medical records.( wow ) I talk to Management about his behavior I don't believe anything is going to be done about it. I see his done this before. he told me his a nice guy. know I have to wait to see if I get a fair treatment from this law firm. and receive the amount and care or support they talk about in their videos. read more

Clean office ! It's on the flirts floor. I did not take a picture of the location but is pretty much very transpiran. Also parking is great . Is free but you have to go up to the 4th floor at least so you could find the right parking . And the food at the cafe on the building is 100 % read more

Nobody responds to calls or emails. There are not showing any interest in taking up cases in spite providing details. No one really bothered to follow-up and respond back. I had the pleasure of choosing Farber and Company to represent me in a case that I can now say is happily behind me! I truly feel that I wouldn't have received the same type of attentive care from another office like I did from this one. They made things a breeze to deal with and were there to explain and help me through different areas of my case with great expertise. My attorney, Bilal, was very professional and thorough which I appreciated greatly. The rest of the office was a pleasure to deal with as well, from small questions to bigger issues that they would help me understand, the customer service was spot on. Excellent handling of my boyfriend's case. He had been physically threatened at work and had ended up psychologically traumatized. Farber employee Samuel was efficient in communicating with us, and Farber attorney Iana went the extra mile to get my boyfriend even more settlement money than he had hoped for. Note: When, months later, we stopped by the front desk to thank Samuel, we accidentally asked for "Eric" instead of Samuel. Eric appeared almost immediately. He is the head of Farber. Good to know that if you do need to talk to the top person, he makes himself readily available! read more

I was so nervous about my deposition and he made me feel very comfortable and less stressed about the whole situation. The assistant that helped me throughout the case, Irving, was also amazing.
