Very cute shop with handmade treasures from local artisans. I never leave this store without a few purchases (last visit netted a candle and cool ring). Owners and staff have always been so nice and friendly. read more

This new store in New Hope has an eclectic assortment of really cool, handmade products! The owner, Erin, has a great display of her own unique works of art--plus lots of products from other local artists! I love browsing the artwork, but it's also a great place to find unique one-of-a-kind gifts for friends. read more

History

Established in 2020.

In February 2020, I signed the lease for this perfect little spot along the Delaware Canal in New Hope, PA....and by March, Covid-19 happened. That's sort of how my luck goes BUT! I have wanted a shop like this since I was a kid and I'm not letting Covid-19 win. Scrambled! was able to open on Father's Day, June 19th 2020. We will make it through this pandemic by offering a memorable, friendly customer experience!

Meet the Business Owner: Erin S.

I got the artist " bug" when someone at a craft fair my mom was vending at gave me a dollar for a 25 cent drawing I made and told me to keep the change. At 14 I started dreaming of having a handmade retail shop after helping to shop keep at a local artisans co-op in the Hudson Valley. For 18 years I have worked in the not for profit Human Services field. Monday to Friday I'm the program director of Big Brothers Big Sisters if Bucks County...on the weekends I'm owner and one of about 12 artists and artisans that sell their art and goods at Scrambled! Gallery of Gifts. Are we a Gallery? Are we a Gift Shop? We are Scrambled! Stop on by, come on in and see for yourself. My art is vibrant, happy! I work in alcohol ink a highly pigmented ink that glows much like stained glass. I do not use any paint brushes in this medium. Fingers, compressed air, dental tools, cotton balls, q tips and old credit cards and felt are some of the ways I apply ink to paper to make unique works of art.

A great little art glass and sculpture gallery/store. They pack a lot of unique items into the…read morerelatively small store and have very reasonable prices (as art galleries go, which might seem high 8f your not used to shopping for unique art items). Ask to see their upstairs storage room where a lot of heir inventory is stored in a more warehouse like environment, but there is a lot to see there. We have houses in Scottsdale and San Diego, and every summer we come to NJ we go there and find something and they ship our items for us (a bit high shipping costs, but always packed well and nothing has every broken).

There's a lot of room for picking here, but not a lot of shade on directly sunlit day like today. That being said, it was still a good time going in and out of the rows and we were able to get a decent amount of fruit with us. Price per lb. was more than great too! The entrance to the corn…read moremaze is not that easy if you had to use a wheelchair, because it's a dirt path that leads upward. I didn't see much of the farm, but I did hear from my friend that their portable toilets were not clean. I don't like having to use those portable toilets, so I had to wait to use the bathroom later. I like how the Corn Maze has been in operation for such a long time. I like the history aspect of it, but I didn't like the exact setup. The guide explained to us that we had to collect information for trivia and history facts along the way during our experience. She explained in detail how to do this. I felt like there should be two different orientations: one for those who want to participate in the trivia, and the other for those who don't. We just wanted to run through the Corn Maze, but it was explained to us that we had to collect trivia facts and such. We had a large group, and one woman did collect the facts, and we all followed along, but I prefer to have the choice. Our actual experience through the Corn Maze was fun! It was dusty, so make sure to wear old sneakers, or be prepared to wipe off your shoes. We had fun trying to go this way or that way, and we took a nice group picture in the maze! I enjoyed myself, and while I wouldn't go back to this corn maze, I would love to check out other activities on this farm.

My family and I came here for a trip and it was really far to get to , it seemed as if we were just…read moredriving and plus so much traffic. It was definitely worth coming here and seeing how the farmers do all the work on the property, and we learned about the history of the farm. They also showed us how to plow the fields and plant the wheat in the dirt. A couple of the employees who worked there wasn't very nice but overall we had a great time.
