Yet another gem in New Hope. This shop fits in perfectly with the vibe in this town and it is right up my (dark) alley. I spent some time here reading the inscriptions describing each item, but there were a few other people there when we were there and the small shop quickly becomes crowded, so I wanted to be respectful and not hog up all the space. I could spend lots of time here though and this won't be my last visit. The shop owner was catching up with an old friend who had stopped in, so I didn't get a chance to interact with her, but she was very welcoming to her store. Spooky little addition to Main Street. I've been coming to this store for the last 8 years, watching them grow and expand. The small museum in is definitely worth a peek if you're passing by. This is not the kind of place that I could photograph to show you exactly how spooky, haunting, and artistic The Creeper Gallery is. I had recently travelled to New Orleans and was so disappointed by the "voodoo" stores and haunted shops there- their wares all felt so kitschy and touristy there was nothing haunting to find interest in. The Creeper Gallery satisfied my hunger for haunted and unsettling objects. The display was laid out with such a wonderful touch, I found myself ambling around the store at a comfortable pace. This perfection in arrangement is hard to achieve in the average gallery. The sculptures were so interesting I would have bought one of it wouldn't have scared the bejesus out of my roommates. It was cool to see "haunted" items that legitimately did look haunted for once. I am hoping this gallery never loses its authenticity and curiosity. Stay creepy!! read more

It's always great when new stores open in a place that you have been visiting for years. Creeper Gallery is one of those stores. If you've never been to New Hope, PA, definitely plan a trip. Especially in the fall. I was in New hope back in April and saw signs that this location would be opening. Being a fan of all things gory and horror, I was excited. The store is small, but definitely packs a punch. There are oddities galore. Really not a place for the faint of heart OR someone not willing to spend some serious cash. Items were really expensive to purchase. It's more like a viewing experience than a shopping experience. A must see if you are into this type of thing! This was such a great find! Perfect store for anyone looking to collect oddities and strange (maybe even haunted) antiques. Purchased the 5 cent tarot card deck and a pin from Madam Clara and absolutely love it! I would liken this shop to the oddities and antique stores I've visited in New Orleans (think Marie Laveau) and although it's on the smaller side it is packed with many strange and unusual treasures! What a nice little gallery in beautiful new hope! We found out about it a little ago and were do disappointed when we found put that it was only open on the weekend, we still went to new hope for a stroll and when we passed it the door was open , the sign said that it's closed but we snuck in and the owner , Dani, told us that they indeed were not really open but was very nice and welcoming. The gallery is just open since 4 month, she told us and in pretty, touristy new hope for sure something special. 2 artists come up with "creepy" figurines or dress up taxidermy , gifts nick nacks and jewelry is plentiful and tasteful. They also have odd things collected from antique stores they resale. My favorite piece was the little dressed up deer at the front door just amazing! Artist like that should be more common, making unique things is so much more satisfying then just ordering it! read more

Visited this shop for the first time last weekend with my family and instantly fell in love with it. Everything was set up so nicely and with so much thought put into each item, the displays were all so unique and beautiful. Nearly everything had a story that went along with it and I was just so entranced by it all. This gallery in New Hope is... unusual! Their business card says "Gothic Fine Art - Antiques - Peculiars." And it IS both gothic and peculiar! There is original artwork created by the business partners who own it, as well as antiques such as a taxidermied black cat, a reliquary with bones, a taxidermidied Cyclops deer with one strange eye in the middle of its brow, bones, pictures, art and items with the image from a Oiuja board on them. As with any store in New Hope, parking can be difficult. There's a sign on the door (or maybe one of the windows) that says "Photography is encouraged." That's very different from many places where original artwork is shown. I think it's a wise move on the part of the owners--it may lure people in, and also makes it easy to post about the gallery on social media. When I was there, people were taking photos. This is store in and of itself is a work of art. The one of kind artwork is stunning. The ghosts are friendly except for that little jerk Jack the doll. The antiques are the most unusual I have ever seen. This is the place that you want to go to unearth all of the strange and unusual oddities you could ever need and then some. I can not be more pleased and excited about this place. The creeper gallery truly stolen my heart today! My husband and I are beginners at collecting oddities, and man, did we hit the jack pot here. The creeper gallery is filled with upmost pleasantly morbid art I have ever seen. They have an entire human skeleton... CMON.... You can't beat that. They also have amazing one of a kind taxidermy creations. My husband and I purchased two post mortem pictures from the 1800s, and we are nothing short of ecstatic. Dani, is very informative and knows her stuff when it comes to the items in the shop. We'll definitely be returning for more goodies! My daughter loves it here! Friendly woman runs the place, which is full of real skeletons and stuffed animals that are CREEPY! (We were told that all the animals died of natural causes, not killed) Fun, eclectic place, including a "haunted" enter at your own risk back room with items that are possessed, and too dangerous to sell. Such fun! They also sell novelty items like gravestone-shaped soap and witches' magic wands. read more

situated right on bridge street where the gourmet popcorn shop used to be, the creeper gallery is a very welcomed addition to the area. if you've been to new hope, you know there's no shortage of strange, odd, weird, nifty, or obscure... and the creeper gallery is no exception. if you're in need of a dose of gothic art, or want to experience something a little creepy, this is the place to go. the gallery is open for limited hours on fridays, saturdays, and sundays, but it looks like they do private viewings during non-standard hours as well... just call them at 484-HOW- VILE (this made me giggle). many of the pieces in the gallery are made with various skeletal remains, and there are some taxidermied animals mixed in as well. each piece has a story, and i would've loved to hear some had the artist not been engaged in conversation with a few gallery regulars, it seemed. oh well, maybe next time. i'll definitely be back in next time i'm in the area- i have a feeling the gallery will thrive in new hope! i'd caution you to heed the warning outside if you have children- not sure you want to give the young ones nightmares. read more

It definitely lives up to its name but most of the prices are extremely high and a lot of the items are only creepy in an over the top 'cheesy' kind of way. Painted dolls with fake blood dripping from the eyes kind of cheesy. But every once in a while I find an authentic item or two. read more
