I called Xtreme Climbing Tree Service after being recommended to them by my friend. He came out on…read morea Sunday (day off) to give me his recommendations and a quote. His quote was far lower than the other 6 quotes I received and better customer service. I had quotes that ranged from $4,000 - $12,000. Yep, you read that right! Matt and 4 crew members came out and cut down 6 large trees, tons of buckthorn, 3 dead lilac bushes and several other small things. Matt also pruned every tree on the property and it looks great! We wanted more sun and he accomplished that! Also, his team had to work in almost freezing rain and snow. The part I liked the best was the clean-up. Matt's team raked up every little stick and blew off any sign that he was even at the property. My backyard had some tire tracks from his machine, but we talked about that before the job was started. My lawn was very soft and it was raining out - this sort of thing was expected. Getting the 6 quotes was a headache and quite frankly annoying. I am happy to have this project completed!!! If I need anything else down in the future I will definitely call Xtreme.

Despite multiple follow-ups since then, I still have not received the refund or a clear explanation for the delay. I'm not asking for anything unreasonable--I'm simply asking for the money he already agreed to return. My biggest concern is the lack of follow-through and professionalism. I understand that unforeseen equipment issues can happen, but making commitments to a customer and then not following through--and later promising a refund without actually issuing it--has left me very disappointed.

I…read moreoriginally hired them for a tricky tree removal job--one that could've gone very wrong in the hands of someone less skilled. They were incredibly careful, knowledgeable, and professional, and they kept me informed every step of the way. Because of that great experience, I recently started using them for snow removal as well. The difference was immediate. They're always communicative, fairly priced, and extremely timely after each storm. The attention to detail is outstanding--my driveway and walkways are spotless every time, and my house consistently looks like the best maintained one on the street. If you're looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and thorough company for tree or snow services, this is the one. Absolutely a five-star experience! A special thank you to Paul the owner and his crew, I'm so glad I went with you.

His snow removal the winter of 2023-2024 was performed maybe 3 times because of the lack of snow needing removal. I had paid him in advance for the winter snow removal. That was a mistake that I shouldn't have made. Dean told me that he was going to compensate me for my large advance payment for snow removal that became unnecessary by pruning 2 front yard arborvitae and a backyard area arborvitae hedge for free. His performing that work kept being postponed by him. Then after 5 grass cuttings he decided to stop providing services for me claiming we were even up. Of course, we weren't since my arborvitae weren't pruned. Their pruning will have to be performed with another party. So, disappointedly I have lost money using his incomplete services. My mistake was that I trusted Dean. If you should use his services get everything in writing and don't make an advance payment to him. Make payments as the work is performed. Sadly, I can only give him 1 Star.
