DO NOT USE Safelite! We paid for the most expensive package with new wiper blades and rain…read morerepellant. The service was done inside our garage to work around my wife's work schedule and being unable to take it into the store. When she drove her car in the rain 2 days later the wipers made a loud clunking noise with each pass. I called Safelite and was connected to a Virtual Assistant. How is that customer service? After saying "human" repeatedly, I finally spoke to a person. They wanted me to go to their store to get the blades replaced. When I said that wasn't possible because of work schedules, she offered to give me a refund. They WOULD NOT go to the vehicle and replace the wiper blades. It's obvious that they use and inferior blade on a not cheap import. After being on hold for 10 minutes, they came back to tell me that I would be issued a refund. That was their answer...as I interpreted it, "We admit we installed bad wiper blades as part of our most expensive package, but screw you! We got your money and it's easier to make you whole by sending A CHECK (not an immediate refund to my card like I did when I paid them), and you figure out how to get quality wiper blades on your car. We're above that, now p!ss off. Go to a business that will respect you as a customer. Safelite isn't one of those. (The technician who did the install is not to blame. He just works for an unethical company.)

I…read moregot replacement and 2 weeks later the safelight windshield had a small crack in it I assume an acorn or something may have fell on it but not sure. Safelight won't warranty the windshield if something may have fell on it. At this point if a small nut or leaf can crack it tells me the product is very poor and I am not safe with it on my car. Getting it replaced by a different company. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS UNSAFE PRODUCT. And takes forever trying to reach a live person. They don't even offer warranty in the phone prompts probably because they never cover warranties on their horrible windshields

I…read morecalled and got an appointment set for the following day for him to actually come out to my house and fix my windshield! So refreshing to find a company that goes above and beyond to serve their customers! He arrived on time and had my windshield repaired in less than 30 minutes, besides being timely and kind he even billed my insurance for me so I didn't have to pay anything out-of-pocket! I didn't even have to put my bra on and the job was done before I finished my 2nd cup of coffee! Thank you, Rick at Northgate glass we appreciate you, your kindness, your professionalism and above all your willingness to come to us so we don't have to come to you! This started out as a normal…read moreenough interaction when temperatures got very cold and a chip in my windshield became a large crack. I submitted a claim to my insurance company and was given this shop as a local option to do a mobile replacement. He was supposed to contact me within two hours according to the insurance company, and it took six days. I was not initially concerned because I know he is a small, local business. When he finally reached out, he set up the appointment for a few days later. When he came to replace the windshield in the parking lot at my work, he noticed that some of the sensors were not correct, and let me know that he had received the wrong windshield for my model of vehicle and would order the correct one and contact me again. Several days later, he called back and set up a second appointment. At the end of that appointment, after replacing the windshield, he called me at work to let me know that, again, he had received the wrong windshield but did not notice until he was ready to reinstall the cameras behind the rearview mirror that are necessary for cruise control and other safety features. He said he would work to find the correct windshield again and contact me when he located it. I have now been driving around for 10 days with warnings flashing in my dashboard every minute that I drive. I reached out again three days ago (Monday), and he told me he was picking up my correct windshield the next day and would contact me to set up the installation. I did not hear from him again, so I called again yesterday (Wednesday), and left a message inquiring about the status of my new windshield and when he might be able to install it. There has been no response and it has now been over 24 hours since I left that message. Today when I called again, it went straight to his voicemail several times. Now it is going to an automated message saying he does not have voicemail, which makes me think he has now blocked me. I see several other reviews here saying he has not responded after doing faulty work. I would AVOID THIS BUSINESS LIKE THE PLAGUE. I have reported this to my insurance company, and will be encouraging them to remove him from their list of authorized repair services. Ironically, when the first windshield was wrong, he made multiple statements about not wanting to get a bad name around town...dear Rick, this is NOT the way to ensure that. Good luck, dude.
