I can only rate this establishment on their beverages. My husband and I came here seeking refuge from the rain and a little warm up. I got the hot chocolate and my husband ordered a beer. The hot chocolate was far and away the best hot chocolate I had ever had. It was made with chunks of chocolate with hot steamed milk poured over the chocolate. I had to stir it up and voila!!! The best hot chocolate ever was made. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming with comfortable bar stools, and cozy corner benches and tables abound. They also had a second floor that overlooks the first floor which appeared to be closed while we were there. This place is definitely worth the stop and will hold a spot in my dreams whenever I am in need of a hot chocolate again.

Came here 3 times in 2 days. Not because they have the widest variety of beers in the city but because the bartenders were the friendliest. Beers are also relatively cheap for such a central location. I was also happy to see they offer a small food menu and are open pretty late!

London No. 3 Gin & Tonic was 12€. Very expensive for so little.

Drinks are very expensive, but the one we had was delicious. Also part of Sandemanns walking tour (the free and the beer tour) so although spacious, the bathroom downstairs is awfully small. We had a G&T London No.3 and the two drinks cost the same as a full bottle of the gin itself! Presentation was good though, but save your money and get the same drink at a 1/3 of cost elsewhere. 12€ for this drink. See pics.

Only came here because it was the intermission of the Sandemans walking tour. They have a good beer selection, and their prices during happy hour are pretty good (buy 2 get 1 free on beers). There's a clean bathroom downstairs that was free to use, and you're also able to buy tickets to other Sandemans tours there, as they have a table set up.

Dang, such a good hot chocolate my tour guide took us here for a break during our Brussels tour and I finally got my Belgium chocolate fix with their really good hot chocolate. They use bars of chocolate and add steamed milk to it! So delicious and perfect for a cold day roaming Brussels!! You can choose what kind of chocolate but I went with dark. Next time, I'd probably ask if they could make my milk extra hot for me but otherwise It was perfect :)

Have been to this bar twice: about 2 months ago and today. First time it was great: we had nachos and beers. Today we decided to give this place a try in terms of their kitchen: total disaster! "Drunkn chicken" was pathetic in size (not bigger than the size of an egg) and very very dry! Moreover, they included 7 items into the check which we did not order! How can 2 people drink 9 beers? So sad, as at first we really liked this place.

    Awesome Belgium beer

They've got so many offerings, quaint decor on every floor, various places to sit, including a rooftop. It's definitely a touristy thing to do but with over 2,000 beers to choose from, who cares? I loved every minute of it. It's crazy busy at times especially when live music events are taking place. We shared a Yard Stick which were multiple beers (smaller taster sizes). See my pics for exactly how many. Service was exceptional.

They're known for having one of the biggest beer selections in the world, and you can literally spend hours just reading the menu. We ordered their famous beer flight that comes with 10 different types of beers. Each one was completely unique, different flavors, colors, and strengths. It was such a fun way to try a variety without committing to just one. Some were light and refreshing, others were strong and bold. I loved that every glass felt like a new experience. The service was great! The staff were friendly, welcoming, and made the whole experience even better. They also have a photobooth inside, which was such a fun surprise. Perfect spot to make memories with friends. If you're in Brussels and want the full Belgian beer experience, this spot is a must-visit. So worth it!

The rabbit meat was surprisingly tender and the stew/sauce added some nice flavor. For those who haven't had rabbit before, it takes kind of like chicken to be honest, just with smaller bones. I think the price was okay considering the quality and type of dish. The fresh grapefruit juice (€5.80) was very good too. The staff are very friendly, helpful, and attentive. I was seated right away and the service speed was pretty quick. They have a decently sized indoor space as well as outdoor patio seating. The environment has a traditional Belgian restaurant/pub kind of vibe. Overall, Le Bistro has high quality traditional Belgian food in a pleasant setting and I would definitely recommend it if you are in the area near Porte de Hal / Marollen.

The service was great, they take credit cards with chips, and the selection/prices were unbeatable. The interior is cozy and classic, with a large buffalo head perched above the bar. While bar service is only downstairs on slow nights, I highly recommend sitting upstairs where there are several small tables with benches hanging from the wall. The tables overlook the bar area below. Contrary to a previous review, while the music and atmosphere can become loud on the weekends, we never had an issue hearing each other in conversation. They played great music throughout the night. Overall, cafe Bizon is highly highly recommended as one of my favorite bars visited throughout my travels.
