The guy at the counter (store manager Mike Kearing) printed off my work order and told me to take it out into the shop (watch my step) and give it to the shop manager. Normally shops do not allow customers into the service area. Apparently the guy at the counter is too lazy to bring the work order into the shop. So I bring out the work order. The guy out there says "white letters in or out". I said out. He said "your husband must clean your tires". Really? Should that be any concern of his who cleans my tires? Over $87 to change 2 tires when the site I bought the tires from quotes $58 for them to do the job. The store manager (or owner, not sure which-the guy at the counter) claimed it took well over an hour to change tires that size (315/75R16), claimed they were a real pain (how would he know when he can't even get out of his chair to deliver a work order). Funny thing, just one week ago I had 2 rear tires plus my spare(so 3 tires) of the same size changed at Laplante tire in massena and it didn't even take 1/2 hour. Store manager couldn't find my keys when I left.....he had one of the young mechanics take me into the shop to find my keys". The 2 young mechanics (one of them was kind enough to tell me his positive experience with tires just like I bought) looked in the shop-no keys. They went back out and found my keys right on the store manager's desk right by his keyboard where he was sitting and couldn't find them. This place is a sad joke. So I was mad enough about just getting totally ripped off by this skeevy place, but it gets better. On the way home, my truck seemed to pop out of gear (it's an automatic) and every gear including reverse now acts like neutral. I had to get towed the rest of the way. My truck has never had transmission problems so it is quite the coincidence this happened before I even made it home from this sketchy garage. I'm assuming they knocked a wire or sensor loose, but who knows. So I have a truck sitting in my yard with new tires but now it won't go anywhere. I also have a much larger credit card charge than I should have had. STEER CLEAR OF POTSDAM TIRE! This place is creepy and a complete rip off. Update-I noticed yesterday this place also trashed one of my tires that would have been a perfectly good spare. What kind of "tire shop" can't break down a tire without trashing the bead? This place should be out of business.

I called to check on the repair needed and they said it was a small repair and would be ready in an hour. 10 minutes later they called to say there was another problem and didn't have the part - they had the part overnighted and fixed it on a Saturday( they could have told us we wld have to wait til Monday). The rate for labor and parts was very reasonable and I am glad she now has a neighborhood garage for the next 2 years she will be I'm Potsdam. Thank you Martins for not overcharging and out of town college student.

They basically have a monopoly on towing in the area and don't NOT give a hoot about college kids or broke folks, in fact they are such vultures they tried charging 500 for less than a quarterile tow of Clarkson campus...it was outrageous and I refused to pay that, to this day I consider them rude and heartless dirty businessesmen. Kept me on hold for over 20 minutes, and did not have a voicemail for mgr that was set up. Called me a disparaging name. I am 70, disabled, and treated horribly. Barstow Collision called me early this morning twice with no messages. Then yelled when I called them back. I have never been treated so horribly by a company in my life. They were supposed to put on my snow tires and I agreed to a time. Then collision called me back furious. Telling me they do not have a tire-changing machine in their shop. I could go I went 4 weeks without my car. Funny how they got to it at the end of my rental agreement? lol. on They blamed me and my claims examiner for them having car in lot for weeks unlocked. I cancelled the tire change because they acted like it would inconvenience them. I offered to pay for changeover. horrible stressful experience for 70 year old disbled men

buyers beware, I'm really not the kind of person that writes reviews, but I figured if only one…read moreperson reads this, it is worth my time, the story begins last weekend at the parkway Cadillac dealership in Valencia, I had been looking for a used Cadillac CTS, and found an advertisement for one, at parkway. the ad price on the car was $13,995, which I thought was a fair price, call the dealer, and made an appointment to go drive the car, got there first thing Saturday morning, and asked to see, and drive the car, it looked and drove great, was very interested in the car. when it came down to the deal on the car, they tried to sell it to me for $16,995, even though I had showed the salesperson the ad, that I had printed out the day prior, the salesperson said that they had made a mistake, and would not sale the car to me for that price, so the old game playing (bait & switch). I told the salesperson that they had to sell me the car, for what was on the sticker, regardless if it was a mistake or not, his response was, well i guess you can call the BBB, OR the DMV, I'm thinking you have to be kidding me, what's so funny about the whole thing, I pulled the ad again today 3/7/16 and the car is still on there, the sticker on the window $13,995, but the ad says $14,995, so what this really tells you is, they really don't care about there customers, and makes you wonder, how many other people they did this same thing too, sorry for so much of a rant, but had to let it out, will never buy a car from them EVER.
