We started with the Fried Brussels Sprouts with Dijon-rum glaze, candied pecans, rum-soaked cherries, and chives. Hands down, the best Brussels sprouts we've ever had! The combination of sweet and savory flavors was amazing. For my entrée, I ordered the Korean Rice Bowl with carrots, marinated cucumber, avocado, bunashimeji mushrooms, a sunny-side-up egg, and gochujang sauce. I added the Panko Crusted Seared Ahi (other protein options included steak, grilled or fried chicken, and lobster tail). The ahi was incredible--deliciously crispy on the outside and beautifully rare on the inside. I loved the combination of flavors and textures in this dish! My partner had the Smash Burger with cheddar cheese, grilled onions, and special sauce, served on a gluten-free bun. He passed on the optional egg and bacon, and the burger was delicious just as it was. He offered me a bite, so I can vouch for that! His burger came with Hand Cut Fries seasoned with shallot, garlic, and parsley. We shared those, and they were perfectly cooked, with a wonderful flavor and plenty of garlic--which we love! We finished with the Crème Brûlée, which was just the right size for dessert. I especially appreciated that it was served in a wide, shallow ramekin, giving it the perfect ratio of crisp, caramelized sugar to creamy custard. The custard was silky smooth, delicious, and not overly sweet. A wonderful way to end the meal! The service was friendly and efficient throughout the meal, making the experience even better. What we got was 2 big containers of chicken broth with little scraps of chicken floating in it. It was like lousy chicken soup. The dumplings were not bad but when I found that some of the "chicken" was skin and even a bone I was disgusted. There was not even a half chicken breast total in the 2 orders. I don't know who is really doing the cooking for this takeout service but it is not good.
