Scottish Power, all my dealings with them have been horrific..... Except for today! I put money on my gas card to top up my meter and all day long i was trying to get the heating to come on. Nothing! So i called up the company to explain what was going on. Usually the calls last for at least 10 minutes before you are put through to a real person, not today within 5 minutes i was talking to someone. After explaining my situation the lady on the phone said that she thought something was really wrong and that i needed to have an emergancy call out. So on hold i went, a few minutes later she came back saying i don't want to alram you but you need to open all your windows, turn off your meter and someone will be at the house in the next hour to see what the problem is. Great i thought although a little worried. I was sitting thinking in the next hour yeah sure i am going to be sitting here all night freezing cold waiting on the gas man. 15 minutes later a knock at the door - Scottish Power. I was in shcok if truth be told. He came in, fixed what had gone wrong, wished me a good day and left. Now i have a nice warm house. Today within 20 minutes of making a phone call my problem was fixed. I have nothing bad to say about the emergancy service of Scottish Power i am one very satisfied customer. read more
