I paid last year £15 to them just for outside so mentioned it to him what they charged me last year & this is way too much. He literally called me liar. I'm furious. Very bad attitude. Ross was quick to reply (even on a Sunday) and said he wasn't sure he could fit me in on Monday or Tuesday, but that he'd pop over to give me a quote on the price. He came over on Monday evening, took a look, quoted me £5 for 4 windows (just £1 more than we used to pay) and did the windows on Tuesday morning. He was fast, efficient and I barely even noticed that he was there (like a ninja). The windows are perfectly clean and I am super chuffed. I'm definitely going to arrange to have him do our windows every month as I really hadn't realised just how dirty they were. Hurrah for clean windows!

The whole back of the house is glass and our wildlife friendly garden is full of birds. Ahem. Enter the Edinbirgh Gutter Cleaning Company. I've seen professionals cleaning windows before but I always assumed that it wouldn't be affordable to get our mega glass bonanza cleaned. I am so so so so glad I asked Paul for a quote because wow was I wrong. Not only was was it so incredibly affordable but ohmygoodness was it such a better job than we have ever *ever* done ourselves. Paul said he would arrive at lunch time and that it would take about an hour. He arrived bang on 12 and took 57 minutes. It was no fuss, and he ended with a bit of banter with The Man as well as explaining that the remaining marks on the windows were glue from the installation process, saying that next time he would bring a tool to get that off. The Man, who has been known to never pay anyone for a job he can do himself, spent the rest of the day making comments like "look, you can see the garden!" and "look at them glisten!"
