Less than a year after one house painting, we needed another. It felt so great that after all of the changes we had to go through, we could have Geordie and his crew paint our fixer upper and help turn it into a nice place to live. Great communication, dependable, and excellent outcome. You can't go wrong by choosing Sunset Painting.

I contacted Sunset Painting for an estimate, due to the positive reviews on Yelp. Geordie responded right away and arranged to come by to look at what we needed. He is very nice, professional, and it was clear he really knew what he was talking about. In the mid-morning light, I could see that several parts of the front of our house looked like the last painter had been running out of paint. Some parts were not painted and splotches that badly needed paint were showing through. I asked Geordie to write an estimate to paint the front of the house, as well as the garage door, after we looked at the other walls and determined the whole house did not need painting right now. We had a railing and trim that needed attention, as well. He was able to recommend a way to protect the concrete parts of the balcony. He power washed parts that needed it, scraped and primed, and did a fantastic job of careful, detailed painting!! Everything was cleaned up when he left and he did a terrific job. He said they could paint interior as well as exterior walls of homes. I will definitely call them when we decide to move forward with the next painting project!

The price charged was more than fair. We would absolutely use Crabtree again.

I couldn't believe how much better my house looked after a fresh coat of paint. They did an amazing job and I would totally recommend them! The ONLY reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is because one of the workers covered my ac (so as not to get paint on it), which it cause the AC to stop working, and I was unable to get a repair man out for 2 weeks. However, I did learn that it just caused the AC breaker to be tripped, which isn't a big deal, but because I didn't know how to fix it, I was without ac for a couple weeks. Other than that, I was so impressed with Lui's work!

We were told that this would take about 2 weeks. Joff stopped his work at our home to work on other projects during this time. Then after 2 months, Joff literally abandoned our job & we had to hire another painter at additional cost to complete the repairs and painting. Lake Light was more expensive than others but we thought that having a "professional & artistic" finish was important & that "you get what you pay for," so we decided to go with this company. We were asked to pay large amounts of money up front & during the job, even though the job wasn't finished. Also, our paint was removed from our home. After several calls requesting that it be returned, a small amount of our main colors was brought back. Joff didn't offer any help with paint colors, in fact he seemed quite impressed with my color schemes using balanced beige, white trim, & other coordinating earth tones. I can say that Joff is a very personable fellow, & as I said, he would probably do a good job if you have only a smaller job. Using this company was a horrible experience for us and I could not in good faith recommend him.

Upscale Painting granted my kitchen a new lease on life!…read more I recently purchased a newer home with attractive cabinetry - based off of the listing photos. When viewing in person, I could see the extensive scratching and water damage. While I wasn't averse to the existing finish, I figured that a refresh was needed. While interviewing painters to do the job, it was a challenge to find companies willing to do cabinetry. The process is a lot more tedious and time-consuming than a standard wall and I had quite a few local companies straight-up tell me "no." Of those who did come out to give bids, I feel as though Upscale stood out the greatest. From the start, I could see that Aaron was passionate about taking on the job. He was prompt with getting back to me, came out the same day, was friendly, and quickly got back to me with a rate - which was coincidentally the lowest of the six companies I received estimates from. I wouldn't say the rate was a steal, but was definitely justifiable for the work performed. Aaron and crew cranked the work out in the course of two days. They were able to transform the cabinetry in my kitchen and my largest bathroom remarkably. I was in awe over their promptness and attention to detail. Not only that, but they were able to seamlessly work on the one day Chico encountered a wild rainstorm. To say I was impressed would be an understatement. The finished product is wonderful and my cabinets look brand new. Thanks to Aaron and crew for the solid work!
