They advertise "convenient scheduling" but it only allows a patient to "request" an appointment with your current doctor. They'll get back to you sometime in the future to confirm your request. You cannot schedule an appointment with a new provider. You'll have to call between 8 and 5 which might not be convenient for a regular working stiff. Bottom line, scheduling is a real pain and the process should be easier. Once you get an appointment all the doctors and staff are excellent but off-shore customer service brings the rating down.

Only after that appointment did I find out their physical therapy department does not take my insurance (Blue Shield PPO) and I was referred out to outside providers instead. I don't understand why this was not disclosed when I called initially, because it would have saved me time and money -- I could have gone to my primary care physician for a referral instead of paying for an unnecessary specialist visit. On top of that, the outside PT referrals I was given either weren't accepting patients or had availability pushed out for weeks (earliest was March after my January appointment). If you're calling for physical therapy, ask very clearly whether they take your insurance for PT before scheduling anything.

He was gone for a month and when he returned my second visit was worse. He didn't review the test results. I had to remind him he already ordered them and they were done except 3D bone scan and why. He glanced at test results and then said Dr Adam Brooks in same office would get the 3D bone scan preautho done for me. Why couldn't this doc since he is one I am seeing? I had to call Dr Brooks office. They were a joke. He would not ordered or do anything unless I was his pateint. So I had to transfer to him. Which ment another month waiting. He wouldn't order any test until I had my first evaluation from him. My husband and I had told ladies on phone several times I had a knee replacement and having isuues. Day before my 3pm apt, we get a call confirming 1pm apt. They insisted it was never at 3pm. Rearranged our day, on way to doc and we get a call. I am calling from Dr Adams office. ?? who?? Apprently his first name Adam G Brooks, MD. Doc reviewed and seen I already had knee replacement he doesn't see people with issues and would only refer me to someone else. This office has done nothing but waist our time and 4 months. I would never recommend either one of these doctors. Between ladies ansering phones, she could have told us at the begining he could see me. And Dr Busfield passing the buck when it comes to having test done, not reviewing patient files before coming into room is very unprofessional. I let Dr. Brooks office know before hanging up. This journey with my lower extremities has been extremely difficult for me a lot of trauma and while I'm in pain seeking help there's no room for jokes and games and mockery of my pain and my condition. I left with more questions than answers I felt like it was a joke or I wasn't taking serious. My pain wasn't taken serious. I called the main office at 11a from the Brentwood Office (I had an appointment with Dr.Chow for my monthly checkup) to cancel . I was told I needed 72hrs to notify them or I will have to pay $150 cancellation fee. I told the gentleman it wasn't in my control that my uncle died. He said to call back and talk to "CYNTHIA" and tell her the situation. So I waited to hear back from her all day and she did NOT call me back. This morning Wednesday, June 28th 9:20a I called the office. I spoke to the same guy and he said, Cynthia is not available. I reminded him my situation and put me on hold. He came back on the line and told me Cynthia said, you should have called the office on Monday. I told him, my family and I weren't notify about his passing until late afternoon. Cynthia said, you still need to pay the $150 cancellation fee until you show proof your Uncle died. I left an urgent message to Dr. Chow and I'm waiting to hear back from him. I've been going to Dr. Chow for "6 YEARS". I've only missed TWO appointments. I think that's a good track record. I never missed a surgery appointment (I had 2 with Dr. Chow).

Anyway, I arrived at the facility for a 3:15p appointment with Nina Golubski, APRN/FNP-C, to discuss my MRI results. After waiting over an hour, I finally saw NINA. We met for about 7 minutes. She appeared distracted, hurried and anxious. She did not go over the MRI report results. She only addressed two MRI slides in very sketchy detail and then said I should have an "epidural". But I had questions that I wanted addressed. In fact, when I did ask a question, she constantly told me she was behind schedule and had many patience waiting to see her. She had to leave and offered me a personal telephone call to address my questions. After driving twenty miles and waiting over one hour to see Nina, my questions could easily have been addressed at the facility during our appointment. I wanted to know the risks involved and the success rates associated with the procedure as well as other options. She offered the phone call to appease me for her incompetency. I told her she made me feel anxious, and that I personally felt I was in a medicine cartel environment that had no regard for my individual health or welfare. I have zero trust for this facility. .

I was even able to walk more then 5 miles in the forest, pain free, 3 months post surgery. Dr. Lee was more than honest in not making any promises of potential out-comes post surgery but helped me make the best decisions for me. Dr. Lee was open to listening to my concerns and questions and offered a temporary solution to prolong surgery for a few months. He was positive, professional, attentive and very welcoming with a warm demeanor. Dr. Lee is not only one of the best Nero Surgeons but is also very personable. I have recommended Dr. Lee to other people suffering similar condition.
