I brought it to a computer guru in my same town which I should've went in the first place he loaded it up and said man this is a super unfamiliar format. He's using no wonder it didn't work in your computer or your TV so he downloaded all the pictures and it took him five minutes. Loaded them back up on the thumb drive and so there you go I paid him and I went home and put it in my TV and all the pictures immediately came up and I put it in my computer and all the pictures immediately came up so the money I spent was worthless and he didn't even offer a refund then I took a CD because I saw him one day at a retail store and I the CD in my car and I needed to make copies of this very valuable CD and he said yes he can take it and take care of it and bring it home and make copies of it and it would be a day or two give him a day or 24 or five days later I text him to say hey what's up and he said oh let me check you could tell he totally forgot about the CD and then he came back about 15 minutes later and text me and said the CD is broke and I've had that CD for a long time and I've had CDs for 30 years and I have not broke one of them. I have a whole stack of them that I have and I have that are not in the original and I have never broke one and in three days four days he manages to break the CD then he taking it to Seattle. They're going to recover it for me. I said how did you break it in the first place I never got a straight answer. He kept leading me on about how he's taking it to different places and they're gonna fix it. They have a 95% success rate and then he ghosted me and I waited a couple months and nothing. He just ghosted me and now I'm taking him to small claims court so double beware

Unhappily, I found that the prices were high, the time frames extensive and, most importantly, the businesses were not local, requiring me to package and mail everything. Thus, if anything went amiss, I would have to deal with a company long distance -- and we all know how frustrating that is in today's market of so-called "customer service." Thus, I was happy to find someone in our own state (Washington) -- Digital Scan Solutions. And what a find it turned out to be! The owner, Bruce, digitized all my tapes (and titled them too!), sent them to the cloud, and answered my numerous questions, with patience and kindness. His technical expertise is incredible. The videos he made are perfect and I couldn't be happier. Next up: Gathering up all my photos and taking them to DSS to be scanned. What a relief it will be to know that precious family photos will be safe and available to loved ones as part of my legacy.

I contacted Camron and another out of town builder. I chose Bigfoot for several reasons and boy an I glad I did. Camron sent pictures with up dates of the project. I worked construction years and I'm am very impressed with Big Foot Builders. I hope I never have another tree fall on the house but I will always call Camron for my construction needs.

We purchased a beautiful home on Guemes Island, off the mainland of Washington state. The house has lots of character and many custom elements, including wood trim from native trees. As such, we needed to find a contractor who respected and appreciated the craftsmanship and who would make an extra effort to retain the high quality and look. Our first major project was to transform a tiny powder room into a 3-piece bath with shower. After interviewing several contractors, we decided to go with Cameron and Bigfoot Builders. He was extremely detailed in his project scope and pricing. He was also the only one with an online website which was customized for our project and where we could check on timeline, progress, change orders, etc. Working with Cameron was very easy. He took 360 degree photos and translated them into a diagram that showed the amount of space we had and what could be done with it. Since we had a large closet on the other side of the wall with the sink, he proposed that we utilize some of that space for the shower, while keeping the remainder of the space as a very usable clothes closet with shelves. Timing was a bit delayed, but not due to their work. Being on an island has its challenges and the ferry accessing Guemes was out for 6 weeks so, by the time we could actually get started, it was well into peak season and we had to work with each subcontractor (electrician, plumber, tile, etc) as they became available. Cameron was really good at communicating dates of availability and trying to move things up when he could. Each of the subs did exceptional work, so no complaints there. Cameron worked with us with the colors and materials and offered valuable input. The result is very functional and high quality, maintaining the craftsmanship and look of the rest of the house. The materials allowance included in the estimate was generous, unlike many contractors who try to keep those costs minimal. Cameron understood what the desired final look would be and was able to procure high quality materials. He even had an extra tall custom shower door built rather than a standard off the shelf door so the look would be more cohesive. The shower door will be installed today and I am looking forward to the final, finished look. The bath is situated between a bedroom and media room and really looks like it is an ensuite to the bedroom. It does not look like an add-on. I can't say enough about the high quality work that the Bigfoot team does. Kyle, who was working hard the whole project, did exceptional work, even according to the other subs. He framed out the shower stall perfectly, so perfectly that the man who came to take the shower door measurements had to take them three times because he could not believe how perfectly the job was done. He told me that "they could have just sent me the measurements and saved me a ferry ride". The entire Bigfoot team is a pleasure to work with. Everyone is pleasant, respectful, and eager to please. This is such a welcome departure from other contractors that I have worked with. Even smaller, miscellaneous tasks like a sliding door lock (which my husband mangled) were done with cheerfulness and attention to detail. This company has upped the bar for their competition. I will be doing other projects with them.

I have some experience in the building trades and was impressed by what I saw both in the quality of work and by the simple fact that unlike many Contractors/Subs these days, when Spane's crew got started, they didn't stop until the project was finished. In early 2025 I decided I wanted to build a 30'x32' shop at my house for my own use. I got bids from 5 different contractors and I decided on Spane for three main reasons: First, in my initial and subsequent meetings with Michelle, their designer and estimator, I learned she was very knowledgeable, personable, and very easy to work with. She took me through the entire design/build process from the beginning to the end, cheerfully answered my questions and put up with me changing my mind several times during the process. Because of her thoroughness, there were no surprises from start to finish. She made it easy. Second, Spane's bid came in the lowest, but I thought it was reasonable as I had done my own estimate of materials and labor based on current costs. (Unlike some of these Contractors around here who jack their bids up to try to make a years profit from a 2 month project...) Third, and most important, over the years I had seen for myself the quality of their work and at the end of my build, my new shop is exactly what I expected and exactly what I wanted. In today's world, Spane actually understands and pursues customer satisfaction and I can't recommend them highly enough.

The end result we wanted was to have the first floor have the same look as the rest of the house in terms of the doors, baseboards, and windows. We had carpenters come and give us bids, but no company was as helpful as Sunrise. When Sarah and Josh came to see the job, we told them what we wanted, and they basically took the load off of us. Unlike other contractors, they didn't give us a catalog with 500 doors and baseboard styles to choose from. Sunrise did all the hunting for the correct pieces that were needed. Once they found what they thought would look great, they let us take a look to make sure we were OK with them (which we were of course). Their prices were reasonable, they will help you choose the right materials to keep the cost down if you ask them to. We were very happy with the craftsmanship. There were a couple of snags during the process, but Sarah was extremely pleasant to work with to resolve any issues. There were no unreasonable unexpected charges or surprises at the end. The best way to describe our experience with Sunrise is "worry free". These are people you can trust to give you a high quality product, at a fair price, and will not try to take advantage of you during the process. We would be happy to hire them again.
