They took my little Max as an emergency and were thoughtful and caring to both of us . He stayed the day and Dr Scott updated me every few hours. They treated us both with kid gloves and Max is doing great! I only wish they had been Max's original vet. The staff was wonderful too. 10 stars in my book read more

Cannot speak of how the Vet is, because I never made it that far. I live a good distance away and drove 1-1/2 to this office to have my mini pig spayed. Was adviced to arrive for my appointment between 8:15a-10a, and to not feed my pet. I arrived around 9a and was told the surgery would take place sometime between 12p-2p, which then I would be able to pickup between 4:30p-6p...pending recovery. After killing time all day in Boca, I received a phone call at 4p to be told there was a delay and surgery will begin shortly... also i would then get another call back to confirm the surgery has begun. Pickup window would be after hours, between 6p/7p. I was frustrated that i was not given a courtesy call earlier, when the surgery didnt happen as scheduled. Then, an hour went by, and still no call for surgery start. I went into the office to get a status. Young desk clerk was told that now the surgery will begin at 6p, and would be able to pick up at 9p. I once again expressed my frustration about the runaround. It wasn't until the "sloppy sloth" at the front desk became combative, that the experience worsened. The "sloth" was correcting the conversations I had with other staff, which she was not present for. Telling me what the process and times I was told. I then made the statement, "You do know my pig has not eaten all day". Her response was, "did you tell the Vet's assistant that". Pretty lack of common sense response, since the "sloth" was the staff member who checked-in the appointment at 9a. The "sloth* would follow up with, "We dont have to do the surgery, you can take your pig". Once the unempethet "sloppy sloth" made that comment, my frustration went to pissed. Why would I want a staff that couldn't give a damn about my pet, to continue with the surgery. I requested to have my pet back. Wasting a full day, which I had to take off of work. I work in the customer service industry and typically only give positive reviews, since they are rarely written...But when I had such a bad experience at LUND ANIMAL HOSPITAL, where there is a lack competence and concern for my loved family member's heath, it should be known. read more

Dr, Scott Lund is the most wonderful and caring Vet. He has taken care of Many. many of my dogs as well as my Persian cat. However, this review is about the TLC he gave my 19 year old pomeranian, Pierre. Dr. Scott nicknamed him "Pierre Cardin". Pierre was quite beautiful. Due to aging he had ailments, so we had to visit Dr, Scott quite often. Dr Scott gave him the most caring and compassionate care. Pierre with great sadness has passed, however Dr. Scott Lund made sure that our beloved Pierre now rests in the ocean which is another beautiful program he provides. was on vacation last week and was staying at the Sands Hotel in Delray Beach. I brought my Dogs with us. Marty at a frog and we rushed him to the closest place and met Scott Lund. Thank got he caught it in time.. They were so good and it was like being at a emergency room. Scott even called us the next day to see how Marty (My dog) was feeling. I wish we had a Vet near us at home like him. Life saver. read more

Having had many dogs, cats and now a primitive dog of 12 years, I can say without a doubt 100%, never have I been so lucky to have Lund Animal Hospital back again...My 12 year old primitive dog, who has undergone some strange infections along the years, has been saved every time by Scott Lund. I even went to several specialists around the country. Expense did not matter, and I did not have much. All these specialist veterinarians agreed on a treatment plan, not Dr. Scott Lund. He stayed true to his belief in a course of treatment for my then 7 year old, now 12. I believed in him, as he had treated so many of my animals over the years and was right all the time. I went with his decision, and she lived! It was close but again he was right, she lived!. After a long time of living away, and having some bad experiences with vet's in other states, the very first thing I did was to look him up and bring in my 12 year old..She was so happy to see him and the staff...Reunited, he looked her over, I had a feeling there was a slight problem. He picked up on it immediately, had not seen her for 4 years, but his intuitive ability to know what's wrong came to the surface immediately. Gladly, not life threatening, but ahead of the issue that could indicate some trouble going forward. The Lund Animal hospital is by far the best in the country. South Florida, feel grateful we are so lucky to have them. Hat's off to all the courteous staff, Kristy Lund and Scott Lund. They are the best! I should know, I've encountered the good, bad, and retarded. Shayna had her extraction on the 28th and the tooth was, indeed, the cause of the infection. She is still on antibiotics & the abscess is going away. Bah Humbug to Lund who obviously needs more education and some sensitivity training. read more

Years ago, I used this place for a few years. Everything seemed fine until Dr. Scott Lund prescribed medication for my dog's skin allergy. The pills were steroids and expensive. One time, as I got home from the vet, I spilled the pills from the bottle, so I counted them as I put them back into the bottle. It was a few short of the number I was charged for (also written on the bottle). I called and told the office staff about the shortage. They told me Dr. Lund, not the staff, counted the pills. So, I assumed it was an accident. The next 2 times when I received new pills (I bought 100 at a time), I counted them. Guess what? they were always several pills short. This vet already charged a lot of money for those pills, and still felt the need to do this dishonest trick to increase his profit? With a few pills short in every client's medication bottle, the profit can quickly add up. I stopped going to this practice after catching Dr. Lund doing this 3 consecutive times. He had lost all his credibility. read more

I could't have been assigned to a worse Vet Clinic than this one. I adopted my puppy from Little Paws of Love (another really bad review will come out of this, but that's another story) and was "assigned" to go to Dr. Lund's office for my puppy's first visit, neuter, deworm, vaccines , etc. The girls at the front desk couldn't be any worse. They are mean, pay you no attention to you nor to your animal. Awful!!! When I dropped off my puppy I asked to have his ears checked and a couple more things, and nothing was done. When I picked him up, (mind me, I had to call and ask if he was ready because nobody ever called me), they told me absolutely nothing and gave me no instructions. When I asked questions, they did everything to rush me out of there. No post surgery instructions, not even the microchip number that he was also supposed to get that day, nothing. After all this, I found a great Vet (regency) and we found out he didn't get all the vaccines he was supposed to. When I called Dr. Lund's office to ask for info, they said the shelter's file with them was so big that it would take days for them to figure out whether he took the vaccines or not (???) Now my dog will have to possibly be vaccinated because of their lack of commitment and ethic. Disappointment is an understatement!!!! read more
