I ask for assistance in choosing a Yeast nutrient for a "DV 10" strain, and the woman helping me didn't know what to recommend; however one of her co-workers suggested 2 different kinds. I asked what she recommended, and she replied, it depends on what you want. I asked for her to read a description of each and she did, I chose the 2nd nutrient. I left the ware house, my truck was parked next to the garage door to it. I overheard the ladies laughing at me, one commented the guy doesn't even know what he wants, what kind of winemaker can he be? (lol) Well, I'm a home winemaker, who asks for guidance occasionally; we also have earned a Gold, silver, and two bronze medals at the Mid-state fair the last two years running. They have lost my business, I can go to vintners vault where they are polite to their customers, and if they don't have what I need, I'll order from the internet. Businesses that disrespect their customers deserve to go out of business. read more
