Mark and Gina, the owners, were incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely wonderful. Mark had several delicious wines for us to taste, including some amazing Cabernet Sauvignon--which can be surprisingly hard to find in Paso Robles! What makes Art of the Vineyard so special is that it's not just another winery. It's a beautiful art gallery and wine-tasting experience all in one. The wine bottles even feature artwork from paintings displayed in the gallery, making each one so unique and beautiful. Gina also told us about their sip-and-paint experience, where you can simply sit down, let her know you'd like to paint, and she'll bring you a kit and guide you through it. They also have live music on weekends. We absolutely loved our visit and could tell how much heart Mark and Gina have put into creating this special place. They just started having live music and will evolve into a performance space of different types of entertainment. It is one of the few true listening rooms in Paso Robles so guests can appreciate the music or performance with intention. Rang it up before I could ask questions, was annoyed that he had to bring it up on the screen again and wouldn't help me carry the very heavy items to my car right outside the door. Told me I could make two trips. I got home and realized V sold me the wrong parts. I looked them up on their website, found the right parts and went back. I showed him the right parts for the rotors on my phone and he asked me to look up the pad's too. I told him that that was kinda his job. He hopefully found the right pads and was left to carry them out in two trips again with no "sorry" or any kind of apology for the huge inconvenience it is when the customer gets the wrong parts. I've have had better experiences from some of their other staff but you never know who you will get. From now on I will find the parts I need on their website and not rely on anyone there having any competence or courtesy.

I visited Central Coast Pharmacy for the first time a couple weeks ago. I had to have a new…read moremedication compounded for my cat's special needs. I was greeted by a very nice woman and pleasantly surprised by her genuine caring and friendly attitude toward me. She smiled a lot. She knew I'd never used the medication. It took an oral syringe to administer the meds. It was small and appeared to be tailored to cats. With tiny measurement markings. She marked with a piece of tape the place on the syringe to make it easier for me to withdraw the appropriate amount confidently. (I'm 70 and not nearly as confident performing new tasks) But her doing just a little extra by marking the syringe made a big difference in my confidence. The pharmacy inventory itself was totally unique! For the holidays there were charming and creative decorations that made me smile and will continue to spread joy during future seasons. There were unique gifts for your favorite Cowgirl and artistic holiday decorations. I highly recommend taking the time to go into the pharmacy. It will make you feel good experiencing their carefully curated gifts and decorations. I'm looking forward to returning for the refill and more closely looking at their unique and delightful items.
