After weeks and weeks without any response I felt the need to pay the office a visit in the town of Pineville. Me and my mother were greeted by the receptionist whom was very shocked that I payed them a visit I told her that I was extremely interested in the property she told me to write down my contact information as well as my mother's I then received a text message asking that I set up an appointment to view the home I became very excited to be told that they have to reschedule. So I wait expecting to hear something.. NOTHING was heard SO I reached out and was then told that the property was given to another applicant I was immediately frustrated with the LACK of communication and customer service this company has. After expressing my frustration I then received another message saying "Bryan" wants to speak with me at 430pm Est I agreed I started to speak with Bryan and Immediately sensed that LOAD OF CRAP he was telling me and my mom on the phone I never heard a Land Lord moving one tenant from one property to another because they have been his renter for 5yrs and he's a great person. WHAT A BUNCH OF BALONEY! here's a little message for BRYAN " you need to get your team together or hire a team of call reps to handle everything because the communication SUCKS! My family relocated from out of state to Wake Forest, NC in May of this year. We were referred to…read morethe Allen Tate Relator office in Cary through my company. During the due diligence period our realtor referred us to a Home Inspection company. During the inspection I discussed my concern with the Garage door that had damage. After a few discussions back and forth with the seller's realtor I was presented a contact for a garage door company at closing. The garage door company came to the property the week after closing installed a part and adjusted the opener. Three days later the garage door collapsed causing the need for a new garage door. I learned during the installation of the new door that the original door had been installed incorrectly and the rollers were installed out of sequence. BUYER BEWARE I was told by the seller's realtor that they were not responsible since the inspection company noted that the door was fully functional. The home inspection company referred to a section of the contract that held them harmless. We the buyers were left with a $900.00 repair. I feel that the home inspection company and my realty company worked to support the bank and seller and not the buyer. BUYER BEWARE We also negotiated a home warranty through 2-10 that was referred to us by our realtor. At closing we were provided with an email and a link telling us we were registered. We purchased a 17 year old home with the original HVAC and hot water heater and this gave us the comfort level to move forward. "This covers your major facilities (HVAC, water heater, appliance, etc) in the event of a failure. If something fails you will be responsible for a $75.00 co-pay." Our water heater failed. The company sent a plumbing company. We paid 75.00 to get a quote for an additional $800.00. The warranty does not cover any charges associated with the change in code. The bottom line is the warranty company paid less than 30% of the repair. I was told by the realty company that this would have been better if I upgraded the service with the warranty company. I was sent a flyer for the first time that showed what the upgrades cover. Once again I feel the real estate company only had one goal and that is to complete the sale of a home. BUYER BEWARE I would not use or refer anyone I know that is interested in buying a home to the Allen Tate Real Estate Company. I will also contact my company and inform them of the relocation realty experience.
