When I was 13/14 (about 25ish years ago) Scott Robertson was my public defender. My Aunt Lisa R Wilson was a CPS social worker and frequented the court, her best friend was Cathy (an ada for cabarrus county), and she was also friends with Scott. She decided to accuse me of assault so that she could use me being on probation as a means of control. The police had taken photographs of the claw marks and welts on my back, showing Lisa's account was totally false. Her friend Cathy and Cathy's husband CJ came to the house, then they called the police, then they all 3 falsely accused me together. But the photographs proved what really happened and that the other 3 statements were fake. The day I met with Scott to discuss my case he had Lisa IN THE ROOM, most of the time was spent with the two of them catching up and flirting back and forth. Then he had me wait outside while him and Lisa talked alone behind closed doors for about a half an hour. When my court date arrives Lisa goes in the back rooms, she's chit chatting with all the staff and the judge she was also friends with, and smiles and waves at scott as she comes out and sits down. Scott has me come on stand to tell the events that actually happened then he himself burned me on stand with the sentence 'do you really expect this courtroom to believe that'. Then I saw him wink at Lisa as he walked away and I came back down. He refused to acknowledge or present the fact that there were photographs proving me innocent. He made no mention of the fact that with literally every member of the court being aquaintences and friends with Lisa it was a massive conflict of interest and should have been held in a different court. He has no business practicing law being willing to do that to a child and frankly I'm tired of not sharing my story. Scott I'm sure you'll read this at some point, so I'll make you a deal- if you make a statement confessing to your involvement in the abuse of power and defrauding of the courts and your collusion with Lisa then I will not bother you, I will remove the reviews, and I will not seek any legal action against you. The only thing I want is for Lisa to finally be held accountable for what you helped her do to me. I was a child, and yes I had some behavior issues and had gone through a lot of trauma, but I didn't deserve that. I didn't deserve to grow up with every friend and family member thinking I'm some woman punching monster. I was helpless, unable to express or defend myself, but that is no longer true. So if you want to do the right thing I won't bother you ever again, otherwise I'll continue sharing my story and trying to find a way to make everyone involved face the legal consequences and hopefully at least a portion of humiliation and despair I endured having to live with that stigma as a child. read more
