If you're trying to hire someone for a job, and they can't meet the minimum standard: communicating and showing up...then they're not worth hiring. Especially when dealing with contractors. While I cannot speak to the service they actually perform, they never made it that far; I consider it a bullet dodged. Consider this before doing business with them.

I saw Paul's paving doing A LOT of work around my town so called them. Paul's paving came in on the lower end of the average estimate and explained the job in great detail. My job was frozen on pay so had to recontact the companies the following year. Paul's paving came back to the house and honored the original price even though it was a new year and the cost of materials went up. They were never pushy and appeared to honestly enjoy their work and the quality they gaurenteed. Hired Paul's Paving and they did a phenomenal job. Highly recommend Paul's Paving and will be calling them for seal coating/maintenance as the years come.

McCormack did an OUTSTANDING job on our home. We live in a historic area of Oak Park, IL where…read morethere are very specific requirements for restoring homes. John and his team were, hands down, the hardest working and most detailed contractors I have worked with. We originally hired them to install new windows and to replace our siding. They were so good that we added a new fence and a new front porch to the project. We, along with our neighbors, still have a hard time believing it's the same home! They arrived on time and worked each minute with little down time. Their price was competitive and they completely earned it! After the new windows were installed, we were required to install new window jams on the inside. I had already added two items to the project so McCormack had to come back to install new window jams after everything else was completed. I feared that I would get caught in a backlog of customers and that it would take a while to come back. NOPE. They returned when promised, which was so important because we were left without window treatments for 15 windows until they did! I would sincerely recommend McCormack Construction...I actually asked that they leave some business cards behind so that I could pass them along to others who inquire. I would not hesitate to hire them again in the future. I actually hope to have an opportunity to work together again someday.
