Very well maintained with plenty of room to spread out. Multiple water spickets throughout the park. The fence is very nice and has chicken wire at the bottom so smaller dogs can't get out. Clean restrooms right next to the park. Beautiful grass, multiple water dishes, dog waste stations (bags), toys, a pavilion to sit under while you dog enjoys itself. We only started going here this week and we are yet to see anyone else here. Look forward to using this place for years to come.

He did so good until a big dog came up and started biting him it wasn't vicious or anything it was playing but my dog didn't understand we kept pulling him away and my dog kept backing up because he was afraid and the dog kept following this is at no fault of the dog they don't completely understand as we do but the owner was not paying attention to his dog at all I kept looking at him hoping he would get his dog and he was preoccupied on his phone. The dog continued to follow and jump on me and my dog so I tried petting him to calm him down and he starting biting my arm again playfully but still kinda hurt which it doesn't bother me at all they are dogs and I love dogs but this guy should have been watching his dog. Other than that everyone was really nice and my dog loved playing with other dogs! I didn't get many pictures he was too excited but there are 3 sections that you can go into!

In the meantime, JGP has the widest concrete paths I can remember in any park I've visited, like the concrete guys were hurting for business, and offered a double wide, two-for-one deal. I imagine it offers a smooth surface for skaters, though I haven't noticed any here on my rare visits. Most importantly for Onyx H. and her little buddy Ruby H., this place is dog-friendly. There's a fenced dog park on the northeast side, and at least one doggie-bag dispenser. That doggie-bag dispenser can be most important when the stock of plastic bags in your pocket is exceeded by your pet's desired number of pit stops. JGP is a perfect place for a short winter walk with your canine companions.
