They carry the standard stuff for a CVS. I find it harder to locate things in this store despite the aisle signs. So melatonin is semi-hidden and not anywhere near the vitamins or supplements. They seem to have a larger supply of cosmetics than other locations I've been in. The pharmacy hours are very reasonable. They don't have a drive thru which would be nice. My interaction with pharmacy staff so far has been pretty basic -- not particularly helpful but they weren't outright rude either (which is becoming more common w pharmacy staff as work conditions are deteriorating). They had no cashier at any of the registers at 6pm on a busy Saturday night. They have 3-4 self checkouts that were open and needed to be used. There was a line to checkout. I gave up trying to use a coupon on an item because I needed to leave and couldn't wait for help to magically appear. The checkout I was at didn't allow for cash back when using a debit card. That was unusual and disappointing. Maybe one of the other registers does have that feature but you'd have to study the signage around the checkout area (which is very cramped and has a lot of information posted all around it). If you have the CVS app, you can order items online and then just go in to pick them up. If you're not getting a prescription, that'd be my suggestion. The parking lot is free and is a busy area. At night it is lit but it would be better if it was brighter. Because it is close to downtown Nbpt there are certainly folks on foot and bikes so be careful. This is one of the only CVS' that I will actually go into. For some reason, the customers at many of them are just not pleasant people. Why they attract stressed out, rude, and/or annoyed customers I don't know but that's been my CVS experience and part of the reason I took my prescriptions and business elsewhere. Life is hard enough without having a stressful experience for simple pharmacy/convenience store shopping. You shouldn't need to do breathing exercises in your car because you have to grab a bottle of Tylenol!! lol

Let me make this *VERY CLEAR* Yes, in New Hampshire, a pharmacy can fax a prescription to a doctor's office. This is a common and accepted practice for various reasons, such as clarifying prescription details, requesting refills, or transferring prescriptions. Here's a more detailed explanation: Common Practice: Faxing prescriptions is a standard method for communication between pharmacies and prescribers in New Hampshire. Reasons for Faxing: Pharmacies may fax prescriptions to: Clarify prescription details with the prescriber. Request a refill authorization. Transfer a prescription from one pharmacy to another. Electronic Prescribing: While electronic prescribing (e-prescribing) is becoming more prevalent, faxing remains a valid method, particularly for controlled substances or in situations where electronic systems are not available. DEA Regulations: The DEA requires computer-generated prescriptions, including those transmitted by fax, to be manually signed by the prescriber. Original Prescription: For Schedule II controlled substances, the pharmacy must still receive the original, signed, written prescription before dispensing the medication. Confidentiality: Faxing prescriptions requires maintaining patient confidentiality, which is a crucial aspect of pharmacy practice THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO REQUESTING THE PRESCRIPTION. If you are requesting the original, signed, written prescription before dispensing the medication this is not a crime, nor a reason to harass, belittle, or gaslight your customers. It's almost like some of your pharmacists might be dipping into your Adderall stockpiles.
