The person has submitted a review aimed at the entire Pinery Park Little League organization based on the quality of the umpires which has absolutely nothing to do with the quality of the little league program. The organization does a great job of providing quality volunteer support and provides many opportunities for kids to participate including additional team tournaments and all star tournaments after the regular season is finished. There are many highly dedicated volunteers that work tirelessly to provide a quality program for the kids that register for this league. The umpires in most cases have no affiliation with PPLL and are affiliated with the local district umpires association. This was a quality little league program in 1985 when I played there and it is still a great program today. Don't consider the previous ignorant and hateful review below.

Venue 5/5 it was quite spacious and our area had great privacy. Food 2/5: Im not going to lie it was pretty bad but I guess you dont come here for the food. Drinks 3/5 not bad, had some pretty tasty shots. Overall I would def come back but maybe just eat beforehand.

When we were done on the range, she let us pick a course from their large list. She continued to check on us and bring us refills and our fries we ordered. Her shift ended when we had an hour left and the next 2 employees clocked in. They were friendly and helpful but we had to bring our cups up to them to ask for a refill, which was annoying since we were the only people playing. They were also out of all of their pizzas. The graphics could use an upgrade since the courses don't really look that accurate other than the distances. The simulator worked as expected the whole round though which was impressive. We did wish they had stands to hold our bags because we basically just had them laying around on the ground. Overall, the price seemed like a great deal at only $40/hr before 4pm on a weekday. We will definitely come back.

A family member was going to this center for a…read moreschool ice skating field trip and we wanted to know if there would be a charge to use walkers in this arena because the skater who would be there is a tiny girl who doesn't have much experience on ice and we didn't want her hurt by bigger, faster and more experienced skaters. This was also a very reasonable concern because other places have charged an extra $10 for the rentals of these items! I called after 9:00 a.m. on a Wednesday which was during their business hours but could never get ANYBODY to answer the phone or even have the BASIC professional courtesy to return my voicemails! It was also so annoying that the voicemail didn't list departments like NORMAL voicemails do (Human Resources, front desk, etc) but gave employee names at different extensions. I have no clue who these people are or what their job capacity is so how would I know who to request? I left a voicemail with 3 of the staff and it is late in the afternoon the same day and not ONE of them had the decency or common courtesy to return my call. I would NEVER recommend this place that treats people so poorly and rudely.

Their staff does not enforce basic rules like NO HITTING!…read more It got to the point where my grandson was being hit every day by the same boy, and we reported it to the director and the teacher over and over with the promise that it was being "handled" and they would not tolerate this bad and constant behavior from one of the kids. My grandson cried every time we brought him to that place, and we finally had to pull him from that school because, after 8 months, nothing was done and I was a witness to the same boy taking his closed fist and hitting another child in the face RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME! I actually should have filed a police report at the time because the school was knowingly allowing these incidences to occur in their classrooms with no repercussions. By the way, I called the Regional Director of The Learning Experience and she assured me that the owner of that location would be calling me to discuss this. It's been over 2 years and still no phone call or message!!!

My son digs archery. Who knew a city kid would like bows & arrows so much…read more... So, we did what all parents who know nothing about what their kids like do... Panic. Thankfully a friend of a co-worker knew of WMAC in its earliest stages. We became involved with the Junior Olympic Program (JOAD) just about a year ago. The coaches have been great about guiding us clueless parents through the process of feeding our child's passions. His coaches are so kind, and so patient. They obviously love the kids, the sport, and the center. Since the program is entirely volunteer run, the coaches and all of the helpers are there simply because they like to do it, and want to encourage others to love the sport as well. How exciting! A program build around passion. The center is brand new (since April, I think) so it is beautiful and pristine. We're extremely happy with the entire program and would recommend the JOAD program without hesitation!

Slow play, and a total lack of rangers. Flat. There was one hill to drive over, but it was not used for a tee or green! Just ok overall. Not a bad place, but well below expectations.
