Scope delivers an exceptional contemporary art experience that feels both curated and daring. The range of work on display is impressive, from playful, colorful sculptures and clever mixed media pieces to deeply emotional figurative paintings and concept-driven installations. Every room feels thoughtfully arranged, allowing very different styles and ideas to coexist without feeling chaotic. I loved how some works invite curiosity and humor, while others encourage you to slow down and reflect. The space itself is clean, spacious, and easy to navigate, making it enjoyable whether you're an experienced collector or simply exploring.

Loved the show for Art Basel and it was my first time seeing it. I would definitely love to see it again next year. There is plenty of artwork to see and so many people there to share the experience with. The artist are there so you get a chance to talk with them about their artwork as well. It was a great experience and recommend checking it out.

This venue is right on the beach. We loved the art, the venue, the music at the covered patio .. it is well organized and the mix of the artist is great. There are plenty of hang out areas inside and out. I thought it was a little pricey: $250 for 2 general VIP tic

For me, this was my favorite gallery. It was different from the other ones. As you first walk in it had this big beautiful colorful structure that changed color the Artrepublic Global. It truly made an impression. This contemporary gallery had something else that most of the other ones did not. It had music playing, good music. It had a good vibe. The crowd was different and the artwork was beautiful. I enjoyed what I saw. . The vendors were all very friendly and approachable. They seem eager to explain the art. The Norwegian Cruise Line was giving away samples of drinks. That was nice. I saw 2 two sitting areas. One of them was interesting I think it was decorated all in white with white furniture. It was futuristic looking. On the walls are pictures of what I would describe as aliens and cyber things. It was cool. They had a section outside closed out. It was the Scope Walls. This area had something like a nice light show projected on a wall. I don't know how else to describe it. It was shapes and colors. It was beautiful and the music was excellent. I would come back to this place again. It was a fun gallery

An absolute must see during Art Basel. Try to attend the VIP party as well. Scope is an awesome indoor/outdoor venue located right on the beach. There are ample bar stations, clean restrooms and a DJ playing music all night long. Only downside is exhibition hours end at 8pm which seems a bit early, it would be a fun experience to walk around later than that... Regardless, had a blast checking out all the diverse contemporary art!

If art is your thing, or even if it isn't, Scope is a very cool exhibit - part of Art Basel. This is a show of modern art. Everything is extremely contemporary. So much to see and definitely something for everyone's taste. Buying art may be a different story. Prices are high and there was nothing that was inexpensive. Another great part of the show is people watching. The outfits that you see at the show are definitely not the sort of things that you will see at the supermarket. Colorful and definitely eccentric. Parking can be a bit of a trick. Either you can park at the convention center and take the shuttle to Scope (which is in a huge tent on the Beach by 8th street.) There are also numerous public lots within a 7-8 block radius. When the weather is great, the walk is wonderful. Definitely check it out next year. Just another perk of living in South Florida.

Scope seems to me the more luxe of the Miami Art Week / Art Basel fairs. For one, even the General Admission this year was $40. But for what you'll spend in one of the tourist trap restaurants across Ocean Drive on this drink, the art work here at Scope will trip you out even better. Oh, and this gallery is ON. THE. SAND..like on the actual beach. That alone is worth the price of admission! One of my favorite Asian restaurants, Shokudo, was handling the catering. Other than a glass of Merlot, I didn't partake but it did serve as a reminder that I need to take a trip back. The works I saw ran the gamut from high end commercial pieces, like the new Porsche exhibit, to works modern or irreverent. Case in point was the one of I photographed of a typical Miami art night :) Scope is definitely on my must visit every Art Basel.

This was my first time at SCOPE and thanks to Yelp Miami for hooking it up cause I've been wanting to go for years :) Last night's VIP kickoff event was nothing less than spectacular! Let's start with the venue. It's right on the beach! As we checked in, a big colorful sculpture captured our eyes and right behind it was the gorgeous ocean backdrop. Then we entered the main tent which consisted of multiple sections and divided by 4 halls. Wow, there was so much to look at from cartoons inspired works, whimsical pieces to dark and industrial installations and sculptures. The artists that we met were very friendly too. They didn't mind explaining their work and what inspired them to create such masterpieces. I really liked the Gorilla in a Too Too, Laurina Paperina's artworks at Martina's gallery, and this Chicago inspired piece made with hand-blown glass called Paradigm Shift (which I really thought it was metal). Even if you're not into art, I can guarantee that the displays here will inspire anyone and maybe even turn you into a critic..lol In addition, Bombay Sapphire was one of the sponsors and they provided plenty of libations throughout the evening. Their staff worked very hard to keep everyone hydrated with Tom Collins and Moscow Mules. They have a dedicated section towards the back of the tent near the Porsche lounge. Yes, Porsche also had their own spacious section featuring the up and coming all electric Taycan on display. Thank you again Yelp Miami for this experience. SCOPE is definitely a must see during Art Basel.

Being that I have never been to an Art Basel event, Scope was definitely a great introduction! I want to say thank you Diandra and Yelp MIami for the opportunity to attend the preview party and have access to the exhibition for its entirety. Beautifully located on the beach, this gigantic tent is really impressive. As soon as you walk in you hit with color! Lots of it! From the color strands hanging above you to the rainbow colored slot machine. It was all just so beautiful. There was an amazing Chicago based artist by the name of Joseph Ivacic aka paradigm shift, that had amazing pieces that were surprisingly made of glass! He was definitely one of my favorites from that evening. My other favorite was Okuda San Miguel! The colors were amazing!! Thanks to Bombay for the complimentary cocktails! They were strong!! Lol! Overall, I loved the place! It was really great!

I went into scope yesterday through tickets provided by yelp and LOVED it. It was spacious with so much art that was just a feast for the eyes. Well organized and very spacious. My friends and I loved it. Loved the overall vibe and art pieces. I wasn't able to track who did each art piece. But wow was mind blown by some pieces. Definitely a must in Art Basel week. Located on ocean drive. Perfect for an outing with friends family or a date even.

I've visited Scope for the past four years during Art Basel! It gets better and better every year. Sometimes I recognize an art piece or two from the previous year but overall, I'm always welcomed with new art pieces I've never seen before. Scope is HUGE. I regularly spend at least two hours walking around looking at art. The layout can get a bit overwhelming as nothing is lined up but more as a maze. I like to make sure I've seen everything so sometimes I find myself going in circles...but it's all so worth it. Scope is right in the heart of Miami Beach so I always enjoy the tent and then grab a bite to eat with friends after somewhere on the strip. I recommend making a day out of it because a lot of the local hotels display free art as well inside their lobbies.

Marcos R.

Scope has a reputation for gathering galleries worldwide that represent some of the most innovative talent in pop and contemporary themes. If you come to Miami Art Week you will want to make sure you visit Scope. If you are fortunate enough, I recommend attending the VIP viewing which is typically the Wednesday of Miami Art Week. There will be less crowds yet more knowledgeable art patrons.

Hands done my favorite art fair during Basel. I've been coming every year for years and I'm never disappointed by the international artists that the fair draws. Depending on the sponsor then certain years are more memorable like 2018 which was sponsored by Bombay Sapphire.

Formed over time, it is composed of residents, alumnae, curators and visitors, coming together to build a community around contemporary art - a fundamental part of our arts ecosystem." Today Oolite Arts provides artists with the free studio space, the chance to exhibit their work, and support. The building contains artists' studios, small exhibitions spaces, and the group's offices. You can take classes or attend events in the building. Oolite also operates out of a new location at 75 NW 72nd St where they will offer more than 200 art classes and launch a visual art program for teens. Oolite Arts recently sold one its two Lincoln Road buildings and there are plans to build and open a new building in Little River later in 2023. To start the tour, we took the elevator to the 6th floor (the 7th was closed for restoration) and then made our way down each subsequent floor. There was an array of unique objects on display. Everything from paintings to ceramics and even an infant's kimono. The meet-up point is the Art Deco Welcome Center in South Beach, located in a park adjacent to the beach at 10th Street. We parked in a pay-lot about 4 blocks away on Washington Street. There were plenty of spaces when we arrived at 9:45 a.m. or so, but it was pretty full later when we left (a bit before 1 p.m.). I was pleasantly surprised that the cost was under $10! We checked in and were invited to browse the gift shop or to check out the Art Deco Museum. We did both. They also issued us lanyard-and-headphone combos for the tour. They had enough people booked such that they split it into 2 tours. Whoever was there a bit early was assigned to the first one, and we headed out by 10:20 a.m. Our guide was Howard. He had a voice that carried quite a ways, so we didn't end up needing the headphones. Given the topology, there were no hills to climb. Everything was uniformly flat. The tour began with a short history of Miami Beach, the concept of Art Deco, and why there happened to be a concentration of the style there. They later touched on how the preservation efforts saved it in the 1970s. Much of the rest of the tour was walking up Ocean Blvd (as well as some other streets) with Howard pointing out features on various buildings and how they reflect various aspects of Art Deco. It also involved the history of the buildings and what they are used for currently. We went into the lobby of one hotel for an interior glimpse. The tour also included a few other miscellaneous structures along the route (Versace's mansion and the oldest remaining house on the island, from 1916). The tour wrapped up after a bit over 90 minutes back near the visitors' center where it started. I thought this was quite a good overview of the subject and provided a lot of insights about the area and its history. If you have an interest in Art Deco and this area, you should definitely check it out.
