I had such high hopes for this place. I saw amazing pictures and heard rave reviews. To say the least, I was extremely disappointed. It was my brother's birthday and I thought taking him to an interactive museum would be exciting and fun. The building is two floors with interactions on both. It was cool that they combined the technology component with Art but I feel it all fell flat. The museum just had projectors everywhere projecting blue patterns and light on the walls. I'm not sure if I was supposed to feel calm but the meaning of art was lacking. This whole museum is just a social media thing, where people go and take cool pictures and that's it. But the so called meaning of Aqueous and the color blue did not translate well with the art. We saw everything in less than 15 minutes and yes took some cool pictures. But for the $24 ticket price and one hour drive to Miami, completely not worth it.

Really cool place. First time going was during covid, it was nice to see that the staff was masked up and they enforced social distancing. We had our temperatures checked prior to entry, hand sanitizer was available and there were stickers on the floor for social distancing. It was smaller than I expected it to be but still really cool. Expect to spend maybe 30 mins max here. Not sure what the parking situation is like, we ended up using valet service outside, which was pricey but it is south beach. Overall cool experience and would recommend it to try something new. Only giving it four stars because it was smaller than anticipated but still worth the price.

Although this place offers some cool selfie op's and the big room is pretty cool, they are way over priced for what you get. Once we walked through we were both like "that's it"? Would be much better if they offered more, much much more for the money. Different experience but not worth going back. Like I said, cool pics but that's all. Metered Street parking available. Staff was friendly but intrusive (always following you around).

I love immersive experiences and digital art so I was super excited to come here. I was hyped by the storyline (love when everything is connected) and I came out with an ok experience. The main reason why I took away 2 stars is because I expected the place to be much bigger (2 floors and the bottom floor has only 3 exhibits) and sometimes the tech didn't seem to work or it was unclear on how I was supposed to interact with it. I also downloaded the app and I had to ask a worker there how to useit, otherwise super unclear...but when I got the hang of it, def really cool thing you see on the app!! Also I don't think you need to pay extra for a timed entry (idk about Friday night or sat). You might as well just pay for a slot to save some $ and you can normally stay longer than an hour. I recommend for the execution because I definitely enjoyed it but I do think the experience could be better.

My bestie in DC has been raving to me forever about ARTECHOUSE. I'm lucky enough to have been able to host an event with them this summer where I initially was hooked by technology and art combining. They just launched a new exhibit - Infinite Space - and so last night my family went to attend as our fam jam. I was completely blown away from this Exhibit. Not only was I surprised at how much the museum had changed from when I last visited - but I was also just really enamored with every inch of the space. If you're looking for something to do that will keep you captivated, provide epic content for the gram, and give you some insight into how artists of today work to keep us engaged and inspired - head to ARTECHOUSE. I love that the exhibits change, which gives you continued excuses to return for the fun! Infinite space is up thru January so make sure to make it out there.

This museum was full of fun technological exhibits. I went with a group, and we all seemed to find something we enjoyed and were intrigued by. This isn't your usual, stationery art museum. Be prepared for lots of lights, sounds, and interesting photo opportunities. When we visited, the museum was showcasing an exhibit centered around Tokyo in the future and explored the potential environmental impacts it may face if we don't take action in the present. It was thought-provoking, stimulating, and pretty. The only negative is the parking situation. Come early!

ARTECHOUSE is located in South Beach. it's an area I tend to avoid due to congestion and lack of parking. This exhibit however looked too interesting to pass up so I braved the Miami traffic. ARTECHOUSE is currently in three cities, Washington DC, New York, and Miami. Save your self the headache of looking for non existent street parking and park instead at the city garage on 7th Street. Parking only cost me $4 and ARTECHOUSE is around the corner. You can purchase your tickets ahead of time online for a specific timed slot or you can purchase them at the desk as I did. Tickets are pricey. My tickets was $25 and by showing her student ID my daughter's ticket was $20. Once you walk inside be prepared to be immersed in a world where technology melds with art. ARTECHOUSE is the brainchild of Sandro Kereselidze and Tatiana Pastukhova. Inside the building on two floors there are ten art installations of which nine are interactive by either movement, touch, or breath. Unlike traditional museums everyone is urged to touch and connect. You can take as many pictures or videos as you like just don't use flash photography. The art by French digital artists Adrien Mondot and Claire Bardainne is called XYZT: Abstract Landscapes. I loved their kinetic sand table where the dots on the screen reacted to the pressure of your hand. In other exhibits you can change a wall with the wave of your hand or walk through a field of digital grass in Field of Vectors. Another exhibit that was endlessly interesting was a small room that had books. If you looked at a picture on the page it was a flat image like you would see in any normal book. However if you looked at the image through their iPad camera lens the motion capture made the image come alive. We had a lot of fun playing with this installation. Although small ARTECHOUSE is worth visiting. The kids I saw during my visit were having a ball. This is an art exhibit custom made for social media and was unlike anything I had ever done before. I loved sharing this experience with my daughter who is studying digital art in college. This is now the second art exhibit I've seen that is trying to get the message across that you can create art through computers not just painting, drawing, and sculpture. The ARTECHOUSE exhibit has been extended at this building. For how long they don't know so come on down before they leave. Once this exhibit moves out another one will take it's place.

I thought it was an okay experience. Its nothing really that amazing. I didn't really get to enjoy the experience since we were rushed out it was honestly my fault for arriving late but i just left feeling un satisfied maybe it was because of the short amount of time there.

I had been plotting on visiting this new art concept in Miami for months, so when I learned I would be able to go to a private event with Yelp!, I was geeked. If you love interacting with art then this is the perfect place for you. Most museums in Miami have the look and don't touch rule but with this intimate installment, it's basically you creating your own masterpieces with your friends and a camera. Tons of cool-ops and instagram worthy posts, so make sure to take a friend who's gonna get all the right angles or a selfie stick. Even the guides were super friendly and helpful with taking pictures and even offered tips and cool tricks to get the right picture! Thought X Y Z T is a smaller art exhibit, I had fun and now that I know they have become permanent, I will make sure to visit the new installment coming from D.C. this fall!

I really enjoyed Artechouse! We went in last minute on a rainy day, and it was super easy to buy tickets. The place was almost empty which was nice, felt like we could take our time in each room. The ticket was $25, a bit pricey in my opinion since it's not that big. Could probably be in and out within 45-60 minutes. Cool experience, would recommend if you like taking cool artsy photos for social media.

Went to go check this place out on a Saturday night with some friends. We were lucky enough to score free parking right in front of the building and thank goodness because it was pouring that night! We had selected the time slot for 5pm to 6pm. They have a limited number of people they allow in the building for each showing. Staff was friendly. We did have a small issue with the tickets we bought. We bought them online through the fever app and they were saying the systems weren't linking up or they were having some sort if issue. We had to buy the next day online but they let us go in for our original scheduled time for that night. We used our code on their website so the ticket charge was waived from the fever ticket but we were still charged an additional $5 for a processing fee. It was a minor issue but I still think it's something they should resolve with that company if they are choosing to partner with them. Buy tickets directly from artechouse if you wish to go. The gallery itself was quit fun an immersing, a great place to take some fun pictures, I can see it being fun for kids as well. Many of the art pieces were interactive so you could spend a good bit of time just playing around. My favorite part was the main room downstairs where the whole room has a projector and it's just so fun to watch all the different things they show. It was a good variety as well didn't repeat the patterns until many minutes had passed. I would certainly check it out again for another art exhibit.

Me posing inside in one of their artwork. It moves when you move your hand close to it...

It was a different experience for me at the artechouse. Digital yes... Everything about it was cool. And that artist took their precious time to bring forth those cool arts. Every one of them was picture worthy... Beautiful. I just wish it had more to it. I and my girlfriends spent at least 2 hours taking pictures. It's worth giving a try when you in the Miami area. And be aware when you leave the building you will feel like a vampire that wants to hide away from the bright sunlight outside since inside is all dark. When you take pictures inside make sure your flash is not on.

The meet-up point is the Art Deco Welcome Center in South Beach, located in a park adjacent to the beach at 10th Street. We parked in a pay-lot about 4 blocks away on Washington Street. There were plenty of spaces when we arrived at 9:45 a.m. or so, but it was pretty full later when we left (a bit before 1 p.m.). I was pleasantly surprised that the cost was under $10! We checked in and were invited to browse the gift shop or to check out the Art Deco Museum. We did both. They also issued us lanyard-and-headphone combos for the tour. They had enough people booked such that they split it into 2 tours. Whoever was there a bit early was assigned to the first one, and we headed out by 10:20 a.m. Our guide was Howard. He had a voice that carried quite a ways, so we didn't end up needing the headphones. Given the topology, there were no hills to climb. Everything was uniformly flat. The tour began with a short history of Miami Beach, the concept of Art Deco, and why there happened to be a concentration of the style there. They later touched on how the preservation efforts saved it in the 1970s. Much of the rest of the tour was walking up Ocean Blvd (as well as some other streets) with Howard pointing out features on various buildings and how they reflect various aspects of Art Deco. It also involved the history of the buildings and what they are used for currently. We went into the lobby of one hotel for an interior glimpse. The tour also included a few other miscellaneous structures along the route (Versace's mansion and the oldest remaining house on the island, from 1916). The tour wrapped up after a bit over 90 minutes back near the visitors' center where it started. I thought this was quite a good overview of the subject and provided a lot of insights about the area and its history.
