The parking lot drive thru was built with some obvious issues right away. The drive thru line, when long, cuts off the mobile curbside pick up parking spots along the building. Instead of vehicles queueing in one line that splits into two to order in the drive thru, cars often create two long lines, which block cars parked in the lot from leaving. A long wait in the drive thru previously is sometimes shortened with the 2nd pick up window and extended drive thru lane around the building. I would recommend you download the mobile app if you visit at least occasionally. They have various deals including free fries or sandwiches, BOGO offers, or discounts off your total order. Ordering is easy in the app and you can pick up your order inside, curbside, or through the drive thru with a 4 digit code. As with many fast food places, they've gotten my order wrong a few times but were correct most visits. Most workers have been professional, helpful, and friendly. My last few visits a guy in the drive thru was less so, nonverbal and straight faced on multiple occasions. The food is consistent with other McDonalds locations. Nice fast food option in the area with unique offerings compared to others in the area.

It comes with a roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy at only $9/person. They had plenty of seating and nice short stools for sitting at the countertop. They were very busy and people kept coming in within 30 minutes of close. They normally close a little early at 2pm so if you plan to visit, they are only open for breakfast and lunch. A nice spot with homestyle cooking. There is a for sale sign on the front so you should check this place out before it is gone!

Service was prompt and they had everything prepared and out to us in the car in under 10 min. Also dined in and got their Dreamy Cold Brew - it was delicious! Strong cold brew, good flavor, with just the right amount of cream. My friend and I both got the bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel and loved them - perfectly toasted and flavorful. Multiple bread options depending on what you want - croissant, 3 types of bagels, pretzel bun, etc. The coffee shop is attached to the Edgewater Senior living facility and has ample parking in the lot in front of it, as well as a drive-thru. Nice ambiance inside with a stone fireplace, beautiful artwork, and a chalkboard wall with a chalk mural from a local artist for the Chinese New Year of the Dragon. My favorite part of this place is that they offer more than just your standard coffee & tea that you find at all the other places in town. I was greeted friendly, immediately and asked if I would be dining. I replied, "No. Just an espresso. In fact I would like a Traditional Italian Macchiato (TIM)." (I lived in Italy for 5 months) The attendant asked if I would like a 16 or 20oz, at which point I explained to her what a TIM was. She assured me that would be no problem to guesstimake. 2 minutes later I was served the BEST TIM I've had since living in Italy in 1993! The espresso, the temperature, amounts of foam & steamed milk were all perfect! Later I called 517 to express to the (Owner I think) how amazing the Macchiato was, but instead unwittingly spoke to the barista that MADE my TIM. Needless to say, she got choked up & thanked me profusely. I told her, "Don't ever forget how to make that! You've nailed it!" So, thank you to unknown barista girl. If you knew how to make it...good on you! If it was the result of an "educated guess" (I assume) it was a stroke of divinely inspired genius! Congratulations to you and whoever sources your Espresso beans! Keep up the amazing work! I'll be back!
