Was in the downtown area and, as far as I could tell, this was the only ice cream spot around. Now to be fair, there was a festival going on that I didn't know about, so the place was packed. But I really appreciated the two people working -- despite the crowd and the rush, they kept things moving smoothly, stayed upbeat, and were kind enough to let us ask a few questions and try some samples. I love that they give you the option to build your own creation, but also offer pre-made sundaes if you're indecisive. I got a cone cup with two scoops (though I'm pretty sure I was blessed with a little extra just for being friendly!), plus a sundae, and I want to say it came out to maybe $20 -- if that. They also had a display near the entrance with a variety of sweets I almost missed. I grabbed a chocolate-covered peanut butter ball and... yumm to the e! Highly recommend this spot. Little ice cream shop in downtown ball ground that is definitely worth the stop!! We had just spent the afternoon at Gibb's gardens and we were looking for a little sweet treat and came upon this! There is a good bit of random lots to park in so parking should be no issue. We came on a Saturday afternoon as well and had no issues being waited on! The ladies working were so patient to let us try everything. I ended up getting a kiddie scoop of the chocolate moose tracks which was only $3 which i thought it was a great price!!! The ice cream was delicious, its Hersheys so served lots of places and very delicious! A great stop if you're in downtown ball ground and they have cute outdoor patio to sit on if the weather is good. read more

This was such a cute little spot! My friends and I went to Gibbs Gardens for the afternoon and were craving some ice cream so we found this spot not too far away. There's a lot of parking along Main Street as well as small lots so we were able to find parking pretty easily. There was no line on this late Saturday afternoon and the staff was super nice to let us try a bunch of flavors. They also serve Hershey's ice cream which I ADORE. I ended up getting the sugar cookie flavor which was had sprinkles and icing mixed throughout and was such a fun flavor! We ended up finishing our ice cream on the patio outside. Scooped on the Main is a perfect little ice cream shop to stop in after doing some shopping or after a meal at one of the downtown restaurants. A copious amount of Ice cream Sunday options with delicious hot and regular toppings to choose from. Cup, cone or waffle and 1, 2 or 3 scoops, I guarantee you will leave full and happily satisfied. Lol. And if that isn't enough they have a nice selection of some tasty chocolates, ice cream floats and milkshakes. Personally I was still a little full from dinner so I just did a single scoop of vanilla with some hot fudge and it was heavenly. But now that I know about this awesome little place I have my eye on one of their amazing milk shakes or maybe go all out and tackle the Banana Split. A very pleasant experience. Clean store, friendly servers and delicious ice cream. I'll definitely be back. read more

Scooped on Main is located in Downtown Ball Ground and it's a quaint, local ice cream shop with a variety of different flavors from blue raspberry to chocolate and everything in between. I had the butter pecan in a sugar cone and it was a generous scoop, rich, and flavorful. Excellent service. read more

We stopped by here as we were driving slowly through downtown Ball Ground. There is street parking right in front of the shop on the main drag, or a large lot just half a block back from the main street. You do have to cross train tracks to get there and the sidewalk is not the best for walking from your car to the shop, but there is little and slow traffic so not an issue. Once inside, you walk to the far end to get in line and work your way back to the front/cashier for payment. They are currently doing samples and the ice cream that is served is Hersheys. On top of that, they have fudge in a nice display window at the front, which we got, along with ice cream in a sugar cone. They also offer cakes, sundaes, and coffee drinks. We went to get a sundae and ordered the sundae and they were out of the topping i wanted then after changed my mind they handed me the sundae with no whipped cream and I asked if I could have some (its advertised large EVERY SUNDAE COMES WITH WHIPPED CREAM AND A CHERRY) she said, oh we are out of whiooed cream ! - no one was in tbere and it wasnt busy ! disappointing!!!! read more

The people were nice and it's a cool area but it's just ice cream. Truly nothing special about it, and the prices...around 5.50 for one scoop and 6 for two. What? I can't say it was worth it. read more
