Everything! Normally I don't write reviews but I found this practice unethical and the treatments are not effective. I saw Cindy Li on four different occasions. On several occasions she suggested dangerous drugs including Accutane. Due to the constant blood work I decided the dangers outweighed the benefits. The next time she suggested spironolacton ( medication used to control blood pressure). I took one pill and experienced dizziness for the whole day. I was adamant of not taking drug to resolve the acne. At my next visit, I detailed to her my experience with the spironolacton, she then scribbled on the chart no medication. Ghee that was told to you prior to scribing this drug. I continue to use two different prescriptions axelaic acid and a tretinion. The axelaic acid stopped the acne and was effective. I had been taking this medication before receiving treatments from Dr. Li. She prescribed tretinion which had no effect. In fact I told her I used this medication and it was not effective. I noticed more darkening around the skin. On the last two visits I requested a chemical peel. The peel was to light the skin gradually within 4-6 wks of application. On the last visit she compared pictures and there was little to no changes in the skin texture or color. The only thing that changed was the acne diminished. That day I stopped all the medication. It was has been 6 months and my skin is shining and bright. Let's talk about payment I spent $250.00 for the chemical peel plus she billed my insurance $330 plus I was charged a co-pay of 77.11 but my copay is $75. I have never heard of a doctor double dipping but anything is acceptable these days. Stay away from them they are only about the money and the treatments don't work. Big Pharm are their friends. She gets incentives for you using harmful drugs. I'm sure she suggest accutane for everyone that has severe acne (she shared pic of 10 different patients who used Accutane as treatment). Please I rather have my toes cut off before discussing or receiving treatment for this practice. Good luck fooling others. You earned every dime of this review. read more

I have been a patient at Schweiger Dermatology Group for years, and they have always been fantastic! I love the flexibility of their early morning and late-night appointments, which makes scheduling so convenient. The entire team is professional, knowledgeable, and truly dedicated to getting to the root of any skin issue I've had. Every visit has been a great experience, with thorough care and excellent results. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for top-notch dermatological care! Especially Isita Patel PA she is phenomenal and really focuses and cares about addressing all her patients concerns and needs. Their parking lot is a breeze as its wide spots with plenty of room. Has a whole page on their website saying that they do annual skin checks but they don't. An annual skin check is covered by my insurance, but a new patient in-office visit is not. They told me that they don't even have a code to bill for a skin cancer check and that if I needed one done, I should see my PCP. The staff is exceptionally rude, the visits are rushed which is pretty rich considering I was waiting in that room (NOT the waiting room- the appointment room) for so long that I was able to go out and use the bathroom before the doctor even deigned to bless me with her time, and they're in it for the money. I wish them all uncontrollable IBS and severe hemorrhoids for how they treated me. read more

Dr Bonney i will give 5 stars , he's a good guy Met him 25 years ago at a different office he removed plantar warts from my 5 year old daughter whos now 30yrs old. Was pleasantly surprised to see him 25 years later and still a nice guy. The PAs are hit and miss. I had one Molly who is no longer there she was great. Had another that was not so great. All large medical groups are factories these days. Almost impossible to find a solo Practitioner. read more

Schweiger typically does a great job, but recently they messed up on an appointment that wasted a lot of my time and forced me to reschedule. Even though it was clearly their fault, the receptionist had a pretty unapologetic and carefree attitude about the whole situation. Pretty unhappy to see them treat a long time customer like this, and I may consider taking my services elsewhere in the future. read more

I called on October 26, 2023 to verify that my insurance is accepted. I attached a photo of the call log to show that I was on the phone with a receptionist for 9 minutes to verify. I gave my id number and information as well, and the receptionist I spoke to informed me that they do accept my insurance. I'm currently at my appointment, and I'm being told my insurance isn't accepted. I just wish I was given the correct information prior to traveling this far. read more

I booked an appt. through ZocDoc back in 2021 to go to this company's office in Fair Lawn, NJ. When I was called in, the PA on call told me she can't help me so I left. I needed an MD but I wrote what I was going for so I don't know why no one told me nothing could be done there before i went. I spoke to her for about one minute. They charged me $50 and I didn't pay it since no service was done. Now they sent it to collections! The person I called regarding the issue was extremely unhelpful as well. Stay away from this place. They are clearly money hungry sending over a $50 copay to collections!!! read more

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Schweiger. I actually left worse off than I arrived. Isita gave me incorrect information about how to treat and prevent my plantar warts from spreading. For example, I was told that I did not need to cover the warts after they were scraped. If you google treating plantar warts, it says online to keep them covered to prevent them from spreading. By the time Isita suggested that I go and see a podiatrist, the warts had spread. I would not recommend going to Schweiger. The current individual I am seeing has removed four of the five warts in less than half the time I was seeing Isita for. read more

Dr. Weiss, supervisor, and his staff, Isita Patel and Aliza Bram are  professional, patient, thorough, helpful, knowledgeable, personable and  efficient!  They are friends to patients and have been for a long time!   The other employees, Margo, Lindsey, Myranda, Krystle and the rest are also positive to  deal with on a regular basis.  The support staff, Victor, and the other phone staff are always patient,  helpful, efficient, personable and helpful! A reliable nurse from a local hospital said that Dr. Weiss is the best dermatologist around!  She has known him for decades! read more

This was the most unprofessional office I have ever been to. I have an allergy to an unknown detergent substance which they are doing patch testing on my back. I was seen by the P.A. to remove this on the 3rd day who I met for the first time. She rushed me with no explanation and said I need to come back for the final reading in 2 more days which I did. At that visit which I met with someone different, another P.A. took down a few readings of my back then leaves the room and sends in a medical assistant with 4 sheets of paper and says here, these are your allergies, your visit is over! No other explanation. I have 4-6 rashes on my back all different sizes and and severities. Nothing explained to me on which allergy is more severe than the other and none of these are related to the detergent allergy I'm currently having. This was a 3 visit situation each at $45 copay for basically an assistant to hand me paper and tell me good luck! Total waste of time & money. They are rude and unprofessional. read more

I started going to Schweiger Dermatology Group in Fair Lawn NJ almost a year ago and after several visits, I remain very satisfied. The staff I've met with have been very professional, good listeners, kind/caring, and very thorough. I have had appointments with Aliza Bram and Isita Patel, as well as Gian Vinelli (although he is no longer there). The office is run very efficiently and the office area is sparkling clean, spacious and welcoming. I highly recommend this Group. read more
