Here's what you need to know: 2/21/19- I highly recommend PA Salvatore Sciurba. I was in a bit of a bind with an acne flare up and they were able to fit me in. Overall great experience. Extremely clean office. Staff was very friendly. The receptionist, Debbie, was very welcoming, so sweet, and helpful with insurance information and paperwork. Lindsay, the medical assistant, was absolutely great with hearing me out on my symptoms and issues, even turned me on to GoodRX.com to help me find coupons for prescriptions. She didn't need to do that but I appreciate the fact that she went the extra mile. Sal was so kind, patient, and actually listened to me. Not once did I feel rushed. I feel so good about returning back in a few weeks for my follow up and hopeful for the plan to help my skin that Sal has in store for me. A great experience. Exceptional customer service is hard to come by these days and this staff really set the bar high. Wishing I didn't have this problem but so happy to have found them! I have been comming here for about 9 months, at first I was seeing dr. Laurie, but due to my work schedule switched to Dr. Sal. I have had eczema since I was an infant and have "been around the block" when it comes to dermatologists.... and I really like comming here. Whomever does the hiring for this place does a great job. The front desk service is amazing. Debbie is always super helpful and super friendly. Dr. Laurie and dr. Sal are both super helpful and go above and beyond. Dr. Sal and Lindsey recently preformed 6 biopsies on me and they were excellent. I didnt feel a thing, sometimes the numbing agent is very painful but Lindsey is a novocaine wizard and the whole experience was so smooth and easy and painless. I found Schweitzer Dermatology when I was looking to find my previous dermatologist Dr Sal and found out him working for this new company and was so pleased with the staff, cleanliness of the building and office. Everything from making an appointment and receiving email reminders are excellent timely, and just the overall process made simple. Refreshing to see such a genuinely friendly staff, it really makes all the difference for the patient. I never been happy to go to a doctor ever in my life but Dr Sal is the best next to Dr Pimple Popper lol. His bedside manner is genuine and just amazing. Thank you for being you!! read more

My experience at the office was nothing short of phenomenal. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. I was treated by Laurie Rost. She was very professional and friendly. Visited this office in June 2019 for the first time. Receptionist was very pleasant and friendly. Minimal wait to see Sal, the PA for a bright red, raw-looking rash on my neck. Dr. Sal was awesome. He asked the right questions to quickly assess what the rash looked like to him. He is very knowledgeable and has a great "bedside" manner. He took his time to relieve my anxiety about what I thought it was. The office is clean and bright. I would highly recommend visiting this office should you need a dermatologist. read more

I called Schweiger Dermatology Group in Manahawkin and received a same day appointment. I met with the Nurse Practitioner Laurie Rost who was very professional, thorough and explained everything to me. She answered all my questions and had a great bedside manner. Going to the dermatologist can be a very scary experience but I would highly recommend Laurie Rost! The office was clean and professional and all the staff were very kind and helpful. Every time I have an appointment, they get me in and out fast. Everyone is very friendly. I see Physician Assistant Salvatore Sciurba. He is extremely knowledgeable and no matter how busy they are he takes the time to make sure all my questions are answered and all my concerns addressed.
