Thank you Kathleen and Katie! I received a beautiful ring from my fiancé the day before my birthday. Kathleen messaged me the next day with birthday wishes. I had to go back in a week later because when I received the ring I felt it was the right size but realized it was too loose. Katie helped me when I came back and I ended going down a half size. No questions asked, no trouble. Dropped it off Monday and got it back Friday. The only irritating thing was I called Friday to ensure it would be ready by the time I left work (because I live almost an hour away and was off that Saturday so would not be back in short pump for a few days), and the employee put me on hold and came back and said they did not know, that I'd receive an email when it was ready. I received the email ten minutes later, come on, really? I would have given 5 stars except for that. Next time I'll ask for Kathleen or Katie and not the person I spoke to on the phone. We've ordered my band because it has to be made but we've got time. My grandparents always used Schwarzschild and it seems we will also! We looked at lots of rings at lots of places. I received a necklace as a gift valued at $300 that I broke. Took it to Schwartzchild to be repaired, but they were not interested in helping finks was happy to do the repair. Kathleen always makes us feel well taken care of; if it's buying a new piece or fixing a mistake, or even just a simple cleaning she is always super pleasant helpful and friendly. My now wife and I stumbled into Schwarzchild almost 3 years ago. We walked in by chance, trying to find that perfect ring. I'd been to 8-10 jewelry stores myself, and more than 3 - 4 with her, and couldn't find anything. Not only did Schwarzschild have what we were looking for, but they had it in stock! All the other stores tried to push us into something different, something they had, but not Schwarzschild. Actually, after finding what we were originally looking for here, I ended up sitting with one of their (assistant managers?) Jerome, and drawing what I wanted in a ring. Schwarzschild made this thing, and made us feel like we got a one of a kind engagement ring. Now I know what you're all thinking - this guy spent a fortune - but you know what? We didn't. We came in under budget, and we were never talked into anything out of budget, or actually even shown anything out of budget. I've since been back many times. Actually, six more pieces were purchased from them. Schwatzchild is honest, and down to earth. In fact, just the other day I texted Jerome for pricing on something I saw online, to see if they had it. He told me the price was $XX.XX - and let me know that this was a better price, with slightly lesser grade diamonds from what I sent, since you wouldn't be able to tell with the size of the stones. He also told me the higher price for the higher grade stones - but this just goes to show, they aren't trying to squeeze every penny out of you, they're trying to do what's right. My fiancé and I stopped in to shop for engagement rings on a Saturday evening. We were greeted by a young woman. She was pleasant enough, but I felt like she was trying to convince me into choosing something I didn't want. I had a clear idea of a 1-2 carat oval solitaire. They didn't have any in the showroom to show me. There was a three stone "modern" ring that she loved because it was so "unique " but I thought it was tacky and I wasn't looking for three small stones. She told me that the "perfect oval" didn't exist, and pointed out that every oval has the bow tie effect, which makes it visually unattractive. She was trying to assure me that the right choice was their preferred round cut diamond. We left unhappy, and never went back to look at their selection again. We ended up at a jewelry store up the street by Whole Foods and i was proposed to with a GIA certified VVS1 two carat oval set in platinum. Couldn't be happier. But I have to give special kudos to Patti Amrhein who has gone beyond the call of duty on several occasions to help me get exactly what I wanted even if it meant multiple overnight deliveries of watchbands to and from NYC to get the right size for me by the end of the week. Do not have your watch repaired here. I sent my Cartier tank watch in to replace the crown as the sapphire piece was chipped. They held it for 6 weeks waiting for parts to come in. Not once did they contact me to let me know the progress. I had to call every two weeks to know what was happening. read more

My fiancé and I were shopping around for our wedding bands. Upon entering the store we walked around and looked at what they had to offer. We were never greeted although there was an employee nearby. She called someone's name and he came over to us. He was an older gentlemen, he asked where I got my engagement ring and then if he was happy with Diamonds Direct's service, as if it mattered. He then pulled out one of his diamonds and said, "that's a pretty diamond you have, but doesn't compare to what we have. We have top of the line diamonds unlike Diamonds Direct." At that point I was sick and ready to go but gave him another chance. I asked if he had a larger selection elsewhere in the store. Chose this store as the location for my first "luxury" watch purchase. Was extremely satisfied with the treatment as a 23 year old customer when many ADs do not take you seriously. They did not have the watch that I was looking for in-store, yet managed to find one and get it in immediately even though it's a somewhat hard to find limited edition.
