I'm sure it's just like most Lowe's, there are tons of employees around looking to help you find what you need (until you need one of them then they're nowhere to be found. Of course, that could just be my luck). This particular Lowe's is where I found out that I'm not the smooth negotiator that I thought I was. We were in the market for a new stove so we headed off to Lowe's. They had several appliances on the sidewalk out front of the store when we arrived. One of the employees was manning this little yard sale so I asked him about a stove that was sitting there. He told me that it was a return. A customer had bought it, it was delivered to the customer, the customer returned it without ever removing the packaging material. It was, literally, still in the box. The price on the tag was around $1400 but it was marked down to $1000. I told my wife that I was going to offer the guy $700 just to see if he would drop the price a little and meet me in the middle. I walked back over to him and before I could even make an offer he told me that he would take $600 for it. I should have played it cool but instead I just threw my wallet at him and started hugging my new stove. In hindsight, I really hope he actually worked there and was not just some guy in a blue vest. Either way I now have a really nice stove.

They showed there were 6 in stock but 4 of the 6 were damaged but still on the shelf for sale. We had asked an employee to help get the two good shelves down from the top of their shelves and he stated he would be over there to help in few minutes. We waited 20 minutes and he never showed up. So I asked another employee and they said they will have someone over to help. We waited another 20 minutes and nothing. Then the guy that we originally talked to walked by and asked if there was anything we needed help with. I wanted to tell him that we already talked to him but just wanted to get the shelves and leave. Once we got the shelves we had a few other things to purchase and we noticed every employee we passed didnt ask if we needed help and seemed anti social unless it was with each other. We also noticed that a great deal of the employees were in a big group just standing talking and not helping others customers. Plenty of these employees were playing on their cellphones. When we got to the checkout line the (which was self checkout) the employee asked if we found everything we needed which was nice but she stood there the whole time watching every item to be scanned. My reaction is if your going to just stand there grab the items and scan the stuff for me. I have given good reviews and bad reviews but this Lowe's location has to be the worst business by far and the store manager really needs to retrain the whole staff. I will never return to this location and take my business to a small business or Home Depot.
