My whole life I have had issues with TMJ, Crowns, Permanent Bridges,Fillings in teeth falling out (what I have left) etc.etc. I grew up in the Columbus area and have been to many, many Dental Specialist in my lifetime. Dr. Rummel, Dr. Schumacher and Dr. Bauer are "Wonderful Dentists" and really do wonderful work! They are kind,sensitive,up on the latest in dental technology and will answer any question you many have. All three dentists have a heart warming sense of humor. Heidi, Ellen and Cindy are just great (I have known them the longest). The other gals that work there have always been extremely kind and sweet to me. I have been a patient of this practice for several years, and I have been much pleased with my treatment, whether it is a cleaning, or other necessary follow-up. In the past couple years, I have been a patient of Dr. Bauer, who is very professional, knowledgeable, nice and friendly and answers all my questions and concerns, giving me pointers in order to prevent tooth decay, gum issues, etc. On 4/20/2015, I was in the office for a filling in a back tooth, and was impressed with the way Dr Bauer and his assistant Heather worked together as a team to handle the problem. I could go on AND ON about how much I LOVE Dr. Bauer's office! My hygenist is always so fun and quick that it only seems like a matter of minutes before she's done with cleaning. Dr. Bauer is positive, efficient, confident, and helpful in a way no other dentist I've been to has been--I love that he never makes a dental situation into a big dramatic scene, he just fixes what needs done without judgement with as little impact to me as possible and I leave my appointment feeling cared for and respected. I love Dr. Bauer and his staff! I switched a couple years ago, per recommendation from a few close friends, and I am so happy I did! The office is very nice with plenty of parking in a convenient location across from Riverside Hospital. I am about to finish my Invisalign treatment with amazing results! Dr. Bauer really listened when I had concerns about my teeth not being where I wanted, so he ordered more trays for me (3 months worth)! I could not be happier! Plus, they have great hours so I can go in before or after work (call for the times; I think they are wrong on Yelp). I highly recommend! read more

I needed an emergency root canal this morning, visiting Columbus from Milwaukee and about to leave on an international trip. Dr. Bauer came and opened the office (on an early Saturday morning). The facilities are state-of-the-art. He was extremely professional, worked out was going on, coordinated care with my regular dentist, clearly explained my options, and did a great job with the job at hand without the availability of a dental assistant. Obviously he knows his trade, which is both an art and science, but it is his true concern for his patients that sets him apart. He had better never retire or my anger will rain upon him! As good as it gets even after Dr. Bauer explained that I would have to have the "dreaded root canal" when we had only been expecting a new filling/crown. Dr. Bauer has a sincere quality of compassion and empathy for the patient who really does not enjoy the dental experience but still keeps those check-ups! This is the best dentist service in town. The people are so friendly. The dentists have tremendous experience in dentistry. The hygenatists are detail oriented with your teeth.
