The aquatic center is one of a few pools open to the public in the North side of the city. It is a wonderful facility with a beach style shallow water entrance on one side. There is a lovely shallow end with interactive water features, a mid deep area around 3.5' deep to nearly 5', several lap lanes, and a nice deep well with a diving board. Other features include enough lifeguards, who keep a good eye on safety. The park also has a nice lazy river, and 2 water slides. There is a snack bar that is reasonably priced, and rentable lockers for .50 . the restrooms include a large open shower area, a large open changing area with several private changing rooms, and body dryers mounted on the walls. There are sinks and plenty of toilet stalls. You are allowed to bring in coolers and strollers etc. There are large umbrellas with tables and chairs which are pretty easy to come across if you come early in the day. There are also picnic tables, deck chairs, and adjustable lounges. There is absolutely nothing to complain about here, and those who are complaining about overcrowding must understand that Milwaukee has more than 600,000 people, and sometimes you might have to wait in a line. Its life. Admission prices are very reasonable, with season passes available. The website shares the current pricing, and I will suggest that this pool has an excellent tot time pricing- $3.50 for kids under 7, and their caretakers, before noon for access in the shallow end. There are also several evening swims each week for 5$ entry. For those with capacity concerns, my suggestion is to call your local county representative, as they are in charge of parks. There are only 3 pools open on the north side of Milwaukee, and the Schulz aquatic center was nearly closed in January 2018 due to budget concerns. We need more public pools open, so everyone can enjoy a nice summer swim. read more

The good: Very clean Lifeguards are attentive and enforce rules as far as things like running, jumping into shallow points of the pool, etc Cheap entrance Decent slides and lazy river for being a park district offering Now you may ask, why 2 stars? What is so bad? They need to enforce capacity regulations. I know it's summer and extremely hot but this creates a lot of issues. The most major being the tubes. 1 of the 2 slides require slides as does the lazy river. The lifeguards allowed a line of 15 kids to build up before someone noticed that every person saved their tube to either slide again or continue into the river. You don't pay to rent them. Why no one ubderstands how to share is beyond me. This eventually lead to literal fights with parents of these kids. Unacceptable and frustrating. read more

This place is amazing! I just took my 7 month old here to swim on a hot day and she LOVED it. There is a zero entry place where we could sit and she could play with the fountains. It's clean, cheap and so fun! TIP: Get there early. It opens at Noon on the weekends and by 12:15 most of the chairs were taken. read more

Great place to beat the heat with small children. Two slides, lazy river, and mid-sized pool mostly set up for casual wading and splashing. Polite school-aged lifeguard staff were diligent and attentive. read more

I love this pool. I go several times a year. For fifty bucks you can swim the entire summer. Sure, sometimes the lazy river turns into the crazy river, and sometimes it gets super busy, but it's worth it, and I love coming here!!! Go swim! read more

It is good to be reminded every once and again that the Milwaukee County park system is pretty fabulous. (Thanks, Sue Black...sorry about whatever happened there.) Came here with a friend when summer finally arrived in late August. We had two little ones with us, and first had a picnic and time to play on the awesome playground outside the gates before the place opened at noon. Got inside and I was impressed. Although much smaller than Cool Waters, it is also more manageable with little ones. Plus there are two big slides, a lazy river, and a huge splash pool for the really little ones. I got the last of my sun/color for the season, and had a blast. read more

They need to pay attention to the captivity because I was in the pool and I couldn't do anything without hitting or bumping into someone and you need a tube for 1/2 of the water sides to go on and as well as the lazy river but their never is any waiting you usually have to wait at the exit of the lazy river or the water side exit for at least 10mins for someone to give it up (which is not worth it.) So that shows that they that they need to pay attention to the captivity. Also there is rarely a place to sit under a umbrella with chair and table because they don't have have enough and because they don't pay attention to captivity and I have to opt for grass and get SUNBURNT!!! read more

The area needs more pools like this one! Clean and the friendly staff. When it's hot outside it becomes very crowdy. If you decide to go this pool try to get there right after the gates open. Couple things though : the showers in the family rooms are hot - cold water runs no well and the second - the lockers most of the time are full of coins and you need to ask the staff to find an available to put your valuables into one. read more

ok where do I began, I purchased a birthday package for my daughters golden 5th birthday the party was booked for the sat before 8/3/19 for $135. mind you I asked plenty questions as far a once the birthday section is over can we leave the party area and still swim I was told yes numerous of times. so that Saturday 8/3/19 I was booked from 1-3pm we arrived mined you I had about 25-30 kids plus parents we got to the gate they said 30 mins before we let you guys in ok cool, meanwhile they are letting another party in while we wait, tired of waiting I asked can we go in the manger says I let you guys in to your party area but everyone who is not included needs to pay then we will inform you guys on when they can swim. so we pay and get the kids in and to the area to wait again another 30 mins have passed then another manger comes up to us and says ill get all the food order out by the time everyone eats we should be letting them swimming (ok no problem). after the kids are done they are ready to play and have fun they tell us another 30 mins by this time we are waiting a good hour and a half almost 2. I go speak with the life guard she said every time I see lightening i'm delaying 30 mins.( wasn't informed this at the door before paying for everyone) so after another hour I go to the gate and asked for a refund or something because kids are getting irritated the parents are upset I get the most rude and unwilling to help customer service in my life they were flat out im not giving you a refund we don't due that and the manager left for the day. she says and if any of you get in the pool we will call the police. by this time im furious I demand they call the manger I was willing to even come back tomorrow and let the kids swim after a good 30-40 mins of back n forth with the manager and there corp office they reschedule us for the next day (Sunday) mine you I had ppl drive from out of town they paid they couldn't get back down the next day. I had kids that had they own money that paid for them self's that couldn't come back. so I we are gathering up all the kids and the gifts, cakes, bikes everything we start to leave to see they called the police on us to be escorted out the pool that was so embarrassing. fast forward next day we show up at 12-1230p like discussed we get in to swim this this we didn't even go to the birthday area we sat on the side line kids start swimming I kid you not at 230pm the manager walks over in front of everyone and say idk what happened yesterday but you paid for 2hr and is been 2 and a half you guys swimming time is up I say that is not what I was told as long as we are out of the birthday area we are good to swim as long as we wanted she states that is not true we needed to leave at this point I was so embarrassed and humiliated I was ready to go I walked off got my crew and we left. im upset because after all the phone calls and the the BS I went through we Lincoln park I was given 70 dollars total back from the horrible horrible experience there. even after we didn't get the full mean we were promised from the initial booking the service was rude and just unwelcoming they didn't care is was my daughters birthday they didn't care they ppl drove from out of town to come to her party they didn't care we paid additional money for others kids they just didn't care I fell like I was an inconvenience to them for even calling about the service and they way I was treated. on my initial complaint I was told I was getting a full refund that didn't happen I spent well over 200.00 on this event and I will never ever n life book or swim here again. read more
