They have SO many aisles and rooms and corridors full of merchandise ranging from antiques to home goods, video games, jewelry, halloween costumes, and clothing. There's a small station up front with boxed wine and cups to help you enjoy your visit. I thought most of the vendors had very reasonable prices throughout their booths and several were running sales. The women working behind the counter were very friendly. I'm only docking it one star because they had no bathroom inside, only a port-o-potty outside behind the building that looked exactly like you'd expect a makeshift bathroom outside to look/smell..

The Wizard of Oz was my grandmother's and my favorite movie to watch together, so stumbling upon Wizard of Odds Thrift Store felt like a little nudge from the universe. This place just keeps going and going, with endless surprises, trinkets, oddities, and treasures tucked into every corner. It truly feels like stepping into another world. Somehow, I found exactly what I was looking for--even though I didn't know I was looking for it! If you ever get the chance, definitely stop by and explore. Not knowing this I stopped by on a recent Tuesday…read more The door was open and a lady was standing inside near the door so I didn't think to look at the hours on the door, but as I walked in she told me "we aren't open - I'm just here to water the plants." I was able to take a quick look around and saw none of the nice and interesting items on the Joshua Tree website (which I checked out after my failed visit), no eye-catching vintage or antique pieces. Maybe there is a second floor where the website stuff is? There was a second person who had stopped by randomly as I had so there's obviously enough interest in at least Tuesday hours. When this place IS open they close at six, so if you work till five and want to visit you better leave work early. Youngstown needs more antique / vintage / resale stores; right now Akron is the place to go for vintage shopping. Doubt I will give this place another chance.

I can't really tell if this one or the other was bigger in size. But this one is set up similarly. Rented space packed to the brim with items to browse through. Almost everything that isn't nailed down is up for sale. I mean that literally. My better half was actually excited here. He has been looking for some pieces for a project he was doing. He had a set look in his mind and we just happened to stumble upon them here. Three perfectly big porch columns and one half porch column were just sitting in here waiting to be reused. Other items that caught his eye were old wooden doors that were just prime for the taking. The people were so helpful with us. They allowed us to use a tape measure to make sure of the size of not only the columns but to see if they would fit in my vehicle. I walked down to my car and got distracted, ended up stopping in at the first location before coming back here. They were so helpful in here. They also made sure to point out some other items that might interest us. We mad a mental note of the items and asked if they would take a deposit for items to be held. Turns out they have a layaway type of program. Put a deposit down and they hold the item until it can be paid off or if you need to come back with a larger vehicle. Good deal to me.

A friend recommended I check out Rogers Flea Market so I figured I would give it a try. Located…read moreabout 1/2 hour south of Youngstown in Rogers, Ohio the flea market is only open on Fridays. I managed to arrive at about 8am, 1/2 hour after the opening. There is extensive parking lots all around the market, I managed to find a spot up front just inside the fence. The day was a bit hazy from Canadian wildfire smoke so it seemed like quite a few vendors decided not to show up, many customers also seemed to have decided to have passed on attending. The flea market is huge, there are lots of open air vendor spots, a couple of covered pavilions and quite a few enclosed buildings. At first I was quite disappointed with the product selection since most of the vendors who set up near the front of the market are selling cheap new products the kinds of things you can find anywhere. I was much more interested when I found the back rows where there were more vintage items and antiques along with a wide variety of almost anything you could want. I check out all of the vendors who were there that day. I did find some items that interested me, mainly wood carvings and related items. Prices were OK, not sensational, but I also didn't find anything that I wanted enough to negotiate to see if I could get a lower price. I did end up buying a cinnamon roll from the Amish bakery in one of the buildings, I also bought some candy and trail mix from the discount candy store in the same building. Overall Rogers Flea Market was not bad, but not worth the drive from Cleveland. Some of that was probably due to it being an off day for vendors and part of it was that I have so much stuff I am mostly looking for indigenous wood masks and I just didn't find any on this trip. I did see plenty of people who had found plenty of things to buy, so your experience could vary. My recommendation would be worth a stop if you are in the area on a Friday, but not really worth a special trip.

I finally got out there this week and was pleasantly surprised with the size of the place. They have several enclosed buildings, pavilions, and rows and rows of outdoor vendors too. They have people selling everything from produce and coffee to gem stones and used tricycles. Each person that we came in contact with was very friendly and helpful. We purchased several pieces of fresh, local produce outside and a few random items inside. I thought the prices for the produce were fair and most of the baked goods were priced within the $2-$5 range. The only thing that was disappointing was that by 2-2:30pm the vendors were starting to pack up. You need to be there pretty early in the morning to see most things before people start to close up shop.

The moment you…read morewalk in you on the left is a beautifully made walk through garden house made of beautiful antique windows. The shop has different vendors and all are reasonably priced. There and many different spaces and all are decorated and designed beautifully. There's something for everyone. Make sure you take your time and look because you can easily miss something wonderful. Also! They just opened another store across the street which we also visited and loved! It has black and white stripped awnings, check it out!
