The shoe quality is Amazing! The staff measure your feet, offer suggestions and truly offer personal service to every shopper. The shoes are include hard to find brands and styles that feel great. There is a perfect for every one in the store. The only draw backs are that the shoes are so expensive (though they last through a lot of hard use) and the staff seems to be a bit snobbish in a quiet sort of way. My wife and I walked in wearing fun T shirts and we had to ask for help when other customers were greeted as soon as they walked in. Also I found a great deal in their clearance cave and the associate practically turned their nose up at having to ring up.the "cheap" shoes, even though we also purchased full price ones at the same time. read more

We are big fans of Schuler stores in general, having now visited several in the area. This particular store is top-notch even among their chain of excellent stores. First, it's big... the selection for men and women is great, and there's a nice wide variety of New Balance, Dunham, Clarks, etc. We usually have success finding shoes here, and that's no easy task for either of us as we both have hard-to-please shoe shopping mentalities. Second, the service is just great. We were helped by a wonderful woman named Kim who listened carefully, made suggestions, checked inventory at other stores, checked the website and waited patiently for us to discuss and make up our minds. It was a total throwback to old-school shoe stores where the person actually HELPS you find the right shoes and makes sure you are satisfied with your decision. My daughter was having foot trouble when she exercised, so she made a ped-orthist appointment at Schuler shoes. With the assessment of the pedorthist, we could understand better why she was having the pain and numbness. With a shoe insert, things could be improved. Also, the shoes we had gotten for her were too big/long. We were able to find some shoes that were comfortable not only for running for also a pair of shoes for tennis. It is really helpful to get advice with shoes and Schuler's does a super good job. we are thankful for their help. read more

I love this store! The sales person was wonderful!! I told him I'm having problems with my feet and I wanted sandals so bad that where waterproof and I had my eye on a pair and he immediately went and got a got them and another pair he knew would be better for my situation and I ended up buying the pair he brought up to me. They are all experts! They know what you need if you tell them your having issues with your feet. Such a lifesaver!!! I was so sad when My doctor told me no sandals this summer but when I went here I found out they have sandals with built in inserts!!! This store and that salesman saved my summer!! I love this shop! The staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They have great brands and a great variety of styles. The prices are expensive but not out of line for the quality. They do have a large sale room in the back where you can find great shoes- IN ALL SIZES - for a fraction of the original cost. They also offer a buyer rewards program. read more

I came here literally minutes before closing. I found a New Balance polo in my size and tried it on. For only $10, it's a bargain and plenty others for men and women in the clearance rack. The place is huge so you can find any shoe that meets your need. It looks like you can also get work boots here as well. read more

My mom needs really good arch support in her shoes, and has been coming to this store for years. I'm often with her when we're running errands. She's commented that she doesn't always get great service here, but when we were in Monday the 4th in the evening, we had exceptional service from Ross. He was very patient, helpful, and nice to my mo as she was a bit crabby in looking for new shoes. I have worked many years in customer service, and he was a shining example of what good customer service was. I buy all my shoes here. I have bad feet and staff is always patient and helpful in recommending good choices. They keep your shoe purchases on file and you get regular discounts. I once had a pair of Naoto break after a year and they simply replaced for free. If you don't like your shoe choice you can return within 30 days even if worn. read more

This is one of the few remaining shoe stores where the staff are really knowledgeable. I've always had great customer service here. Recently a pair of shoes I'd bought there and had for years started to come apart. I brought them in and they immediately swapped me for a brand new pair. The original pair was defective and backed up by either a manufacturer warranty or Schuler, I'm not sure which. Regardless, they were friendly, quick, and had the size I needed in stock. I just spent $360 in shoes and boots. Granted, the clerk spent a lot of time with me as my foot is hard to fit (that's why I come to Schulers and am a loyal return customer), but as he handed me my purchases and we had concluded our transaction, I asked to purchase some boot polish. He said he had someone waiting and I should get it next time. I said ok and left. The more I thought about this, the more I felt that he should have either asked another clerk to help me or told another clerk to help the person that was waiting. For the price I was expected to pay for any of these shoes, I was disappointed. The customer service was spotty at best. I was in the store for over 20 minutes before someone asked me if I needed help. Never seen a pair of clearance shoes for $75.00 before. Something tells me that I'd be better off buying shoes online. Which I did, for less than half the cost for the exact same pair. I'll never attempt to shop here again. read more
