The staff were so full of appologies for not being able to help , which made me feel that i had let them down by not giving them a sale . Barratts are absolutely brilliant if you have feet that are not 'normal'... and by that I don't…read moremean webbed toes, haha, I mean if you are a lady and take either size 2 or size 9 or 10, then they have a special range of footwear to suit these sizes, and they are also affordable too. The quality and styles are very nice too! I believe they also cater for men who have big feet too. In the Newcastle branch they do not have the tall/small shoes in store (in stock), however, they are happy to order in any shoes so you can try them instore before committing yourself to buying them. The assistants are always friendly though I do find it a little annoying when they approach you several times when you are just browsing. Still I guess they are trained to do this so it's not their fault. They also have a website where you can order items but there is a set postage charge, which is £3.50. I have ordered from there too and the service has also been good but if the shoes are unsuitable, you have to pay the return postage and they do not refund the £3.50 delivery charge. I have often taken shoes ordered on the Barratts website back to the store in Newcastle, and they have processed my refund and saved me return postage :D
