I would not recommend The Concrete Bro based on my experience…read more Before I hired David, he assured me that he stood behind his work and would take care of any issues that came up. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. After the project was completed, I discovered two separate problems: the concrete around the drain was not sloped correctly, causing water to pond instead of draining properly, and the stair concrete developed cracks shortly after installation. I brought both issues to David's attention and expected him to honor the guarantee he gave me. Instead of coming out to inspect the work in person, he relied on photos and refused to make any repairs. He blamed the drainage issue on dog hair and debris blocking the drain, even though the problem is that the concrete itself does not slope correctly. A clear drain does not solve the ponding because the water isn't being directed to the drain in the first place. I understand that concrete can develop minor cracks, but as a customer, I expected concerns about a brand-new installation to be taken seriously. Instead, both issues were dismissed, and I was told nothing would be repaired. If you're looking for a contractor who stands behind their workmanship and honors their promises, I would encourage you to look elsewhere. My experience has been extremely frustrating, and I regret hiring this company.

For our first project with them, we had them put down concrete on a good portion of the yard and it came out GREAT! Loved how the stamped design came out and have received multiple compliments on it. We also really appreciated their attention to detail when it came to grading the entire area and were thankful they suggested our AC condenser unit be elevated to ensure water wouldn't pool around it. It was something we hadn't even thought of and were glad to have brought to our attention. When we were ready to tackle the second portion of our yard, we called up Newline again! This time, we had artificial turf with concrete curbing, DG, and a concrete slab for a future shed put down. The end result is fantastic and we're quite happy with how everything turned out. Their crew for both projects always arrived on time and left the area clean after each work day. The communication was excellent throughout both projects and the crew always checked in with us if questions came up to ensure the project was coming along as we envisioned. We also found their pricing to be very competitive, so value for their services has been top notch. Overall, we are more than happy with Newline and will surely continue to use them for our future yard projects!

We are considering litigation because the project he abandoned in terrible condition is a rental property that we can not market until we bring in someone new to fix all of the problems. Carlos and One Stop Landscape can not be trusted.

They were able to provide everything I wanted and help bring my vision to life with: a pondless fountain, aesthetic hardscaped lush planters, front yard patio sitting area, and tree lighting. Have used Schubert Landscaping for years but only for Sprinkler Repair. They have always provide outstanding service for that. This year I decided to remove my front yard and put in Drought Tolerant landscaping. After a year of getting quotes and plans that did not meet my requests, I called up Schubert Landscaping. William came out and sketched out EXACTLY what I was looking for. Their pricing was very fair. They finished the project today and I could not be HAPPIER! They are a wonderful company. Schuberts Landscaping gave me a fair estimate on removing my turf. They designed a beautiful rock landscape with a dirt mound under my jacaranda tree and planted drought resistant plants. They also installed a drip water system that sweats out water not drips. Work was completed in just a few days. Initially I had intended to hire them for only the first phase of our project, but they did such a good job and beat competitors prices to earn our business as we moved into other phases. To shade this further, I am an HOA manager and frequently hire and manage all types of vendors -I am very familiar with the process of working with landscape and pool companies and I really believe this one is exceptional enough to give a raving review. Juan and Sal were incredibly professional, their equipment was up to date, their knowledge was extensive, and their team was respectful. Every day they worked hard all day only breaking for a brief lunch; they cleaned up and made our yard safe for our dogs every evening (or let us know if there was something we should be aware of like wet cement). If there was a problem they provided a solution and made it right. In several instances they went above and beyond by helping us with additional requests along the way like removing a shrub or an additional piece of concrete without nickel and diming us. The crew was the same guys for most of the job, which allowed us to feel more secure in leaving our home under their care while we came and went throughout the day. For every job they mobilized FAST; working to get us scheduled within just a day or two of each contract signature. Juan and Sal did not disappear after the initial bid either- they were there every day either supervising or working alongside the crew, and when I had a question they were super responsive via text. I also really appreciated they accept major credit cards without an additional fee. As far as specific job areas: Demolition: This may seem straightforward but our demo involved quite a bit of skill and attention to detail. They dismantled a poorly built fishpond and retained the material for us, providing pallets and stacking them neatly so that we were able to sell them later. They made excellent cuts to our cement and removed portions so that you can't even tell that it hasn't always been that way. They removed a wall built of boulders and glass bottles (don't ask me what the prior homeowner was thinking) with a deep footing that ran adjacent to the pool without breaking anything or hurting any surrounding plants. Concrete pouring: This came out beautiful. we had new steps poured, a new slab, and some steps added on to existing cement. They blend so well and the finish and border is lovely. We caught a small miscommunication between framing and pouring and they came early the next morning to make sure it was taken care of with time to spare before the cement truck got here. They coordinated with our pergola contractor to be sure they properly placed the footings and conduit too. Pool tile: We were not originally planning to redo our pool tile but the price was so fair that we couldn't refuse. The project was originally scheduled to take a little longer, but when I requested it to be expedited because I was hosting Easter that weekend, they made it happen. Even though it wasn't in our original scope, this is one of the things we are most satisfied with- it made such a big difference to our yard and the tile selections were beautiful. They also thoroughly cleaned the plaster - it looks like a whole new pool. Fence: Because we had to work with our neighbors on this, it was a little tougher to make everyone happy. Even so, Greenscape/Evolve made it happen even when it meant they had to redo some things to satisfy multiple parties. We had a very specific design in mind for our front facing fence (horizontal with metal accents) and they were able to create something similar for our budget. As mentioned, there are some odds and ends that we are still wrapping up, but I believe that this is a rare company that is ethical and deserving of trust. It seems there is nothing they can't do.
