They said that if I did not have the repair done by them they would charge me $59 but if I had the repair done they would then wave that fee. They came out and looked at the problem and told my wife we needed two new ballasts which I already knew. The technician then went out to his truck for 15 minutes and came back with a quote of $400 for parts and labor to replace the ballasts which I later found out to be quite high in itself. But they also charged us a $195 diagnostic fee for the 10 minutes it took them to diagnose what I already knew. I would stay as far away as possible from this company.

When he discovered there was a small leak with the filter lid preventing circulation, he tried everything to make it work, but unfortunately couldn't. So, he offered to put in the order immediately and have the new part shipped to our house. He also gave me a workaround to keep the tub warm until we could complete the minor filter fix ourselves to avoid draining the hot tub again. As a first-time hot tub owner, I appreciated that he walked me through everything and tried his best to find a solution to our problem. Thank you, Stone!

Installed 6/21 Today 5/19/22...Just started putting filter and pump together and now I know why it leaked water at every point! The installer employed by Tri states switched my brand new strainer that I purchased in May 2021 and left me my old leaky one that was to be replaced.. How the heck could I be so DUMB AND TRUSTING!? I had already purchased the liner from Tri States in 2020 which cost me an additional $900 and accessories for the pool. It was left in Tri states storage until the installer brought liner & accessories to install 2021.. I don't even have a clue if all my items purchased were actually used. can't walk in the pool without feeling the metal under your feet..He promised me it would be like walking on the beach.. I have video of one crew member trying to break into cars on our property. Just watch your stuff.. Munson's in Galesburg and Macomb have been very helpful during this ordeal.. There is so much more that I could write a book on being screwed over by a reputable pool business! Our water heater went out, and on April 15, 2026, Bently installed the replacement. During the installation, my husband and a friend witnessed the stairs being damaged as the dolly was taken down. They immediately told Bently, who said he would inform his boss and follow up. We never heard back. My husband called several times with no return call. I called on 4/27 and spoke with Patrick, who added me to Shawn Ogborn's call list. No response. I called again on 5/27 -- added to the call list again. Called on July 1 -- same thing. I finally received a call at 7:07 PM on 7/1, but missed it. I called back the next morning and was placed on the call list yet again. Shawn finally called on 7/8 and asked for pictures of the damage. I sent multiple photos and a video. Shawn later claimed the damage was "normal wear and tear," insisted Bently used a tarp, and stated my husband never mentioned the issue -- which is simply not true. We had the stairs replaced with real wood last June, and they were in perfect condition. Another witness also saw the damage occur and heard the conversation with Bently. It's clear they have no intention of repairing the stairs. Something this minor could easily be handled through insurance, yet my 20 years of loyalty meant nothing. I support local, family‑owned businesses, but this company has shown they value money over long‑term customers. I was dismissed, disrespected, and essentially accused of lying before being hung up on. Truly disappointing.
