I was called within the hour and my appointment was scheduled. Before the appointment, Jayson called ahead to tell me his name and what he would be driving so that I would know it was him. He showed up 15 minutes early. This is amazing considering most people show up late. He was kind, polite and courteous. Because my roof was over 20 years old, I assumed my roof would not be covered by my insurance and I would have to pay for the whole thing. He walked me through the steps of filing a claim with my insurance and even met with the adjuster to survey the roof and make sure all the damage and code violations were noted. They actually convinced them to cover the cost! All I had to pay was my deductible. The roofers were all friendly, fast and efficient. They took their time making sure all roofing debris and nails were picked up. I couldn't be happier and the roof looks great. Green Mountain was able to come out the fastest, got me a bid within 24 hours, and Zach patiently walked me through different options (TPO, Silicone, and repairs to the tar + gravel). We talked through the pros/cons of each material and the cost differences. From a cost perspective, Green Mountain came in down the middle of the bunch. From a thoughtfulness, responsiveness, timeliness, friendliness, and professionalism perspective, Green Mountain was at the very top. Green Mountain was extremely communicative throughout the job. He checked in afterwards. His team showed up when they said they would and left the property as clean as they found it. Because this was for a home I was purchasing, Green Mountain had to run around and coordinate with the seller, the seller's insurance agent, myself, and the seller's agent. He also had to schedule the job with only a couple of days notice, and complete it within 3 days so we could make our closing date. Green Mountain was able to get it all done without making compromises on quality. Once I got into the home and inspected the roof, I found some extremely minor areas of concern.
