Great park for runners, walkers and children. Nice shade and sun. Best kept secret in the area.

Love that they have a toddler area and big kid play area. Although the big kid area is easy for…read moretoddlers to navigate. The playground looks new. Like they just replaced it. Definitely wear tennis shoes or closed toe shoes here. The trails are a good mixture of dirt and then some parts are cement. Nice fishing spot as well. Catch and release only. Be careful letting smaller kids near the pond. I have seen a kid slip and fall in. He was okay and got out, but after seeing that I keep an extra eye on my kids if we want to get close to the pond. They have a sand volleyball court. Lots of walking trails. Even behind the trees where a retention pond is. They have covered pavilions with picnic tables and bbq pits. Also love that the playground is covered and kids can play in the shade. That's a MUST for Texas parks!

Super impressed by this park!…read more They've done a really great job with adding beautiful manmade waterfalls and such. The walking trail is very pleasant. FYI: the trail is paved and stroller accessible. On the way back, we took another trail which was dirt and had no issue taking the stroller on that as well. Nice playground for kids. There are bathrooms just past the playground. I initially thought they were closed because the gate had the lock still on it (in a locked position) but luckily, someone advised me that they were actually open. So, don't go by appearances and actually tug on the door! There are two relatively small parking lots that fill up quickly but there is also street parking available.

We love this park, it's unfortunate about the bad reviews because the actual park itself and upkeep…read moreis awesome! They have a huge covered dirt arena and another large indoor climate controlled building for events. There's also some sports fields and pond but we mainly come for the playground and splash pad. We love that it's free and has a lot to offer. It's all completely paved, even the walkways connecting the splash pad to the bathrooms and to the playground. There's also a large covered pavilion with picnic tables for moms to sit and watch the kids.

The ducks are rude at Bull Sallas Park. After my event, I was taking a short stroll by the lake…read more Those ducks went charging at me. It was like, "Hell. I don't have any food. Are you going to bite me?" Watch my video to see this gruesome scene. I really wish they had a better signage from the feeder road. I was fully relying on Google Maps GPS to take me here. However, the road was blocked with a metal gate. Get out of town. Why? Well, the entire park was not well marked. So expect "private driveway" wherever you are going. I considered this was an escape from town living. I had a smooth drive on Interstate Highway 69 in a steamy hot Saturday afternoon driving from Houston. If you came here for an event, make sure you capture the address. I was specifically going to 21675A McCleskey Road. To be more specific, it should point me to the entrance where all the buildings are: EMC Fair Association 21675 McCleskey East Montgomery County Senior Center 21679 McCleskey Restrooms by the lake **70th review of 2017**
