The staff here is very friendly, approachable and dedicated to their work. I firmly believe that if it were not for their help I would not have been as successful in my college applications as I was. I strongly recommend C2 of Preston Hollow to anyone who wants to raise their testing scores or needs additional college counseling.

I came to Damon with precisely no vocal experience. Not even a Google search on how to sing. I knew NOTHING. But I had so much fun just showing up and trying new things this year. Damon is the most welcoming, accepting, and encouraging human being I've literally ever met. I never ever felt even a smidge inadequate with him, even though I knew and could do so little starting out. He led me to breakthrough after breakthrough with my voice and music as a whole. I'm by no means a professional, but that was never the goal. The goal was to have fun, challenge myself, learn something different, and feel secure in my voice. I accomplished all of that under Damon's knowledgeable guidance. Today, performing for the first time in front of anyone besides Damon, was just one more breakthrough to add to the stack, and by now, I'm not even surprised. This has been an absolutely magical ride.

This place is a Godsend! Our daughter has been going to Grade Power Learning in Garland since…read moreApril - and has improved her reading by over 3 grade levels since she started! Not only that, but she has STRAIGHT A's for the first time since 1st grade! I am so thankful for the team at Grade Power - from their initial testing, they voiced concerns that we already had about our daughter possibly having some learning differences. We had her tested through her school in 2nd grade, and they told us she was ADHD and should be medicated. We disagreed, and didn't medicate, but she continued to struggle in school. Thanks to Grade Power reconfirming our concerns, we got outside testing completed and lo and behold, she is Dyslexic! She has been on a personal tutoring plan at Grade Power and now also has a 504 in place at school to get additional accommodations to help her learn with her learning differences. She even is enjoying reading - something I never thought would happen! AND Grade Power even will attend those meetings with you at school as an additional advocate for your child - AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE! If you have any doubts, feel free to contact me! Check them out - their tutors and staff are super friendly and our daughter actually enjoys going to tutoring (this from a girl who has, in the past, HATED school and anything school-like!). THANK YOU GRADE POWER!

My son started Spanish House when he was about 3 months old. He is always excited to go to school…read moreand loves his teachers like they are family and that love is definitely not one-sided. Everyone that works in that school knows my child by name. This is not a daycare. It is a school from 3 months old and on. All the teachers are native Spanish speakers and only communicate in Spanish with the students. In addition to being Spanish immersion, they follow the Project-Based Learning Curriculum even in the nursery school. Your child will not be sitting around all day, their days are full of activities. Each month is a different theme/project and the teachers tailor-fit their lesson plans to match. For example, this month's theme at the nursery and preschool schools is "Deja un Mensaje/Leave a Message." Students are learning all about communication - the traditional and modern ways to stay in touch, the importance of the messages that we send and how communication can connect us to other cultures. The entire school is decorated with mailboxes and letters. I highly recommend checking them out!

First off this isn't a School! This is a Daycare where you can bring your child/children anytime of…read morethe day . There's no structure! Only playtime in a few rooms that is . The Director claims there's a cut off time but there is not! Protocol isn't followed at all . Management sucks and that's because of the Director she lack at being a Boss and taking ownership . In fact she has other employees telling other employees what to do causing tension . And the one giving orders walks around all day hanging in the office talking about other employees and it's with the Director because she engages in it . She doesn't have your back at all because she talks about you as well . I've witnessed her several times about other employees. If she was replaced this business would be operated correctly . So many people including myself have left behind her Horrible management skills and horrible communication skills . She cares more about having friendships with her employees than setting the tone for the school . The reviews for this school are true especially the ones speaking on the director and the management. There's favoritism there's racism and so much drama ! And the way some teachers handle the children isn't Good at all . There frustration gets the best of them . Management will not inform you of changes until the last minute leaving things very chaotic. I've had several people tell me she was racist but I had to see it for myself and she is !! The owner of this business is all anout his self. Raises are hardly given and the way he presents his self is very unprofessional. Money is all he cares about but his hard working employees don't get appreciated . He hardly ever speaks unless he's spoken to. Rude and uncaring is what he is ! He has no knowledge of his employees unless it's coming from the Director . All of the owners schools have bad reviews especially about poor management and unfairness . I don't recommend this Daycare at all ! The tours are all a front . Nothing happens the way it's presented to you. This place is highly unprofessional and anyone lacking experience is hired and thrown anywhere just to fill that spot . The good thing about this job is you would always have a job because she's afraid to fire anyone she rather give chance after chance . I could go on and on about why not to come to this place but It would take hours to do so. The previous review about cameras mysteriously not working is absolutely true for some reason the bad things always get erased or told the cameras aren't working! Please keep that in mind because there's definitely cameras that works. The director and her sidekick watch it all the time . I hope my review helps some or all save themselves time on checking out this Daycare ! Thanks

My son started attending the preschool in late October/early November. At his previous center, we…read moreexperienced a situation where he was bitten several times. We discovered the bites during bath time period I expressed to the director at Meadow Oaks that it was important to notify me if anything happened to my son. I explained that I did not want to discover something had been happening that was not reported. However that exact thing happened at Meadow Oaks. My son has longer hair, that he wore in braids, and it was ripped from his skull. When I noticed that his hair had been pulled from his head, I immediately called the center. The director was unaware however the teacher, Clarissa, knew what had happened and did not report it. In addition, I was asked to come in Monday to view the footage and when I showed up there was no footage to see. It had already been deleted based on their video storage system. Clarissa says that the incident happened in an area that is a blind spot for the camera. I do not feel that a child of 18 months can rip someone's hair completely from their scalp. Clarissa had been rude to me on previous occasions(I reported this to the director), on 3 instances I came to the center and my son was soaking wet(pants and diaper with urine), and his face would often be dirty. I reported this incident to the Mesquite police and Texas department of child care licensing. This was a heartbreaking experience for me because I explain to them all I went through emotionally after my son attended his previous center and the exact same thing happened here. The director is unaware of what happens at her center, and the teachers are inadequate and incapable of caring for children.
