The second time we sat outside and had a wonderful meal. My wife ordered a cheese spatzle and got a salad with it and she shared it with our middle son who also enjoyed it. I got the Berner Lendchen, which is a pork filet wrapped in ham and topped with cheese. It came with a dark sauce and croquettes. This Swabian meal was fantastic! We were too stuffed for dessert. The third time we tried to eat here they were only doing reservations. That was kind of a bummer, but it offered us a chance to try a different place to eat. I might have docked them a star had the meal we did get to try not been amazing. Lastly, we didn't see a allergen menu which unfortunately for us we need since two of our three boys have food allergies.

Was treated to this restaurant when I was in Germany with my sister. We had a party of 5 and were…read moreseated right away- no wait at all. The menu had so many different items on it- all German food of course which was interesting because although I am Half German I never really ate the food. I ended up getting the fried schnitzel since I always wanted to try it, a salad and an orange and cola soda. They were known for the soda that was an orange and cola mixed together soda- it was interesting for sure. My sister seemed to enjoy it more than me- guess I was used to our Coca Cola instead. As far as the salad- for some reason in Germany they put Cole slaw mixed in with regular salad- interesting for sure, but tasty cause I love Cole slaw. The fried schnitzel was okay- I ate it but probably would never eat it again cause it definitely wasn't what I was used to eating. All the foods were so foreign to me. The best thing about the meal was the dessert. Me and my sister ended up sharing dessert and it was a fried pastry with apples and cinnamon. It was so yummy. I prob wouldn't be back to Germany for some time- but if I ever return, I'd give this place another try.

It was delicious and flaky. We recommend this place to all who come through the area. The place takes Visa, too.

The soup was a bouillon called "Grießklößchensuppe". The menu offered three options; I chose the semolina dumplings. Outstanding! The soup was delicately tasteful and did not overwhelm the palate. The main course was "Zweibelrostbraten": a grilled and roasted filet covered with onions and roasted potatoes on the side. Cooked medium rare, it was lean, tender and delicious. We chose an American wine from California: Stimson Cabernet Sauvignon 2012 (€23). Very impressive clean taste, exceptionally smooth with lots of fruit right up front. We did not have dessert as we felt very full from our sumptuous repast. Reservations are essential. Our meal, with wine and tax was €126 (for three) and well worth it! We WILL return. We recommend very very highly.
