My lavender clogs are wearing out and I don't like to buy shoes that I can't try on so I decided to…read morescout out some of the local scrubs stores to see if I could find any similar to what I wear. I got started on clogs many years ago after wearing Minnetonka Moccasins for about 20 years because they were soft and comfortable and never pinched my feet. I found some lavender clogs and a scrub store in my hometown that were on sale for $9.99 clearance. I figured I'd give them a try. If they pinched my feet I wasn't out too much money. By the second day I was wearing them loved how comfortable they were and went back to get another pair but darned if the store hadn't sent all the shoes that hadn't sold to their outlet store in Arizona so I was SOL. I've bought several pairs since then, some brand new and some in thrift stores when I was lucky enough to find them. This store had a lot of great uniforms and accessories but their shoe selection wasn't real wide and they definitely didn't have any lavender or purple ones, plus the price was a little higher than I was hoping to spend although I did find a white pair on sale for $20 that I might double back and look at if I can't find what I'm looking for. A clerk cheerfully greeted me and asked if I was looking for anything in particular but at that point I just wanted to look around on my own so she told me about several sales they were having and left me on my own. I don't particularly like when clerk hover when I just want to look for the enjoyment of seeing what they have. I'm not in the medical field so I don't need the clothes for that purpose but I would say that if someone was, this would be a great store to check out.

This store was recommended to me by my doctor, however, my experience when I went in was far from…read morestellar. The selection is fine, it was the customer care that was lacking tremendously. I walked in and noticed that the few associates on the floor were already with clients, however none of them greeted me or stated that someone would be with me shortly. A group of employees came out of the back room as I was standing by the front entrance, and without kindness a girl with huge fake eyelashes yelled "do you need help?" Unsure she was even speaking to me, I looked to the back of the store and said 'I'm sorry were you asking me?" She said again 'yes, do you need something?' .... I walked to her since she had stopped walking towards me and told her why I was there... you see at the time I had just had part of my foot amputated and the rest of my foot was very much misaligned/deformed from metatarsal breaks. I was very vulnerable and unsure as to what I needed in terms of footwear. She very quickly and in an uncaring manner did the size routine and promptly put me in a very ugly men's shoe (I'm female) stating that it was the only one that would work. I was on the verge of tears as I felt defeated, I was super excited to come into the store to find something great and your employee did not do her job. I took a photo of the brand and size of shoe she put me in and ultimately, instead of buying local, purchased my shoes online through the brand website (at a lower price I might add). I will not recommend nor set foot into this store ever again. Anyone I have spoken to about this experience of mine has had a similar one... so I would strongly suggest that the upper management vet out who they hire in the future. I'm truly surprised you guys are still a functioning business.

I got there 30 minutes before they close to purchase braiding hair. i was over half way done and was being watched and fallowed the whole time which didn't really bother me as i was not there to steal 3 $3.99 bags. also i was the ONLY customer in there. they reminded me every 2 minutes they were about to close. both the HIDEOUSLY RUDE couple stood at the door with their coats on and timing me the whole time! Hell i barley walked in and they already was on my ass about closing! I was actually heading to the register but I had one last question and that made them EXTREAMLY MADDDDDDDDD!! I asked them both if I was just bothering them just being there and that did NOT settle well w them!!! She started yelling at me so I threw my things that I was going to purchase down and told them to stick it!! She then proceeded to tell me that i am just a trashy N@$$#R lover with dread locks and they don't like my kind in there and not to ever come back!! First of all they sell ETHNIC hair and accessories PERIOD. So if they don't like black people then wtf are they in this business!!!!?????!!!!! Wow, this place was pretty impressive. In the time I have been in Amarillo I have gone from…read morethinking there was only one, maybe two places where people could buy health related items like vitamins and essential oils, protein drinks Etc. to realizing that there are lots of stores that sell these products. Drug Emporium is my most recent discovery. I just popped in here because I was over at Scott's Oyster Bar having lunch and had seen Drug Emporium. The name caught my attention because you don't see the word Emporium much anymore. It look like a drug store about the size of CVS or Walgreen from the outside but as soon as you walk in you realize that the place is huge like a large grocery store. I wonder if the location used to be a grocery store in fact. The first thing I noticed was hundreds of bottles of hair shampoo and conditioner in the first aisle I went in. I don't think I had ever seen so many choices in one store before. As I progressed through the aisles I saw that this was typical for every category, be it laundry soaps and dishwashing liquid, vitamins, essential oils, cosmetics, lotions and more. That being said, I started looking for some products that I know to be very hard to find and did not find most of them. I did happen onto a couple of items that I had already found previously and purchased or else I would have bought them in here. I just didn't need duplicates. Some of the hard to find items that I did not find were anything in the Wondercide brand, based in Austin, specializing in natural ingredient insect repellents for pets and people, Kirk's Castile lotion, hand soap, shampoo or conditioner which I have only found in one store ever and that's in the small town of Pendleton Indiana, Premier Protein bars which I was told by someone knowledgeable are only sold at Walmarts and Walgreens although I could have sworn I found them at a Meijer store in Michigan and bought some on sale. I don't know if Meijer is affiliated with Walmart or not but I didn't think so. I can't remember what the other items were offhand. They do carry some grocery items but a much smaller selection of them because that is not their specialty. I thought their pricing was very fair. They were less expensive on some items and higher-priced on others. I think I spent about $14 on the few items I bought. I'm traveling so I didn't need much. I spent much longer in here than I expected to because there was so much to look at it and I have to say it was an enjoyable trip. If I lived in town permanently I'm pretty sure I would be shopping in here.
